I think he needs a little meat on those bones...

I got stage 5 done.   50 miles with 5,576 climbing.  I was hoping to do 2K more, but I ran out of gas.  The ride had 8 climbs.  Good stuff.   3 1/2 hours added.

OK.  Not exactly a stage today but I was active for a good cause.  I ran 4.6 miles at our Relay for Life.  Had a great time and talked to lots of friends.  It was empowering and frustrating to see all of the cancer survivors at our little tiny event.  (I live in a pretty small area.)

Thank you for doing this.  It is amazing how many people get touched by cancer.

we're ten days in to the challenge and loads of us are over the expected 41% of rides/time/distance. for the others let's heap loads of encouragement on you. we've had a nice ten day warm up, and whilst the lazy pros are resting tomorrow let's all aim towards getting closer to our goals.

hey clovers i've mixed things up a bit to increase inner-team competition and encourage all of us to reach our 100%, which obviously we will do because we are the FAMOUS BLUE CLOVERS!!!!

as you'll see on the spreadsheet we are now in two groups: logos and non-logos. each group is pitted against each other, whilst we all are pitted against rubbish like astana, agritubel etc

all you need to do is keep logging your work outs as usual (or i still can, as i get some of youse are a wee bit busier than me) and my magic spreadsheet will do the rest.

right come on you blues logos!!!!! boo hiss to the red non-logos

I'm just the opposite.  My TdF ride week of climbing is done.  I'm on to a recovery week.  I'm going to add an additional stage--but the volume will be down.  I have my Vineman 70.3 race on Sunday.  My goal for this race is very different than last year.   It is just to finish.  This race is my qualifer for Kona, with no time constraint.  Just finish.

Wow, it is very quiet around here! I was feeling bad because I have not been able to chat much, not like me to be this quiet...  Anywayssss I had to work last night but I am now getting going (well it is HST) plan is to get on the trainer and spin my tired legs out!  Stage number 5! 

Hopefully will be able to inspire all of you later this week!

I hope to get a substitute ride in tonight.  I missed Monday because of thunderstorms -- hopefully they will stay away today!  It's looking good so far...

Anyhow...I gotta ride in tonight inside. I certainly have my interval training in need some endurance though...maybe this weekend.

I'm pulling for Lance.  In spite of being on a French Team in the TdF!  :-)

I got stage 7 done for 54 minutes.  I ended up not pushing it too hard--as it was hot and a couple of days before my race.  I got 1100 feet of climbing in tonight.  Crappy day at work meant I did the ride in the evening before heading to the kids swim meet.

been a crazy start to the week. Between work and court Ive had about 5 hrs of sleep the last couple of nights. Plan on getting out at least twice the rest of the week to hopefully make up some ground.

And GO LANCE!!

Well, over 100 miles ridden, so a bit more than halfway to my goal.

And the whole avatar thing? Waaaay down on my list of stuff to do.
