You're not... I'm just a history nerd. I think about what my grand-parents felt on Dec. 7, 1941 and Sept. 2, 1945. Wondering what my parents felt on Nov. 22, 1963... or how my Dad heard his b-day called during the draft on TV when he was 15. Just another gigantic piece of history for me to be a part of and try to remember for my kids and theirs. Lame? Probably, but it is how I work. |

Yeah. MSNBC, which is on the TV right in my line of sight, is replaying it in real time. As if that day wasn't painful enough, I get to sit here and watch it again as if it were happening right now. It's so depressing. I want to change the channel but that might seem insensitive. Our company lost two people who were giving a presentation at WTC1 that day and to turn the channel might seem disrespectful in some way.Are you serious?! I can't believe they are replaying it. How terrible. |
