How to add a table to your dashboard (the top part of your BT training log):

1. Copy the HTML code that I will paste.  (Or, quote the message with the table.  Then click "Disable HTML", then click "preview", then copy the HTML).  You want to copy from < table> to < /table> Anything else you don't need.

2. Click on "Settings" at the top of your screen.

3. Click on "Training Log Customization" tab.

4. Click on "Dashboard" subtab.

5. Paste the table where you want it to go.

6. Click "Update Dashboard".

7. Go to your training blog and check the table.

If it shows up, you're done!  If it looks like HTML, follow this additional step.

8. Go back to the "Dashboard" subtab following steps 2 - 4.  Now, the table should look like a table.  Click "Update Dashboard" again.

Let me know if you get stuck or anything is confusing!!

Thanks for making the little table!  That is just the sort of handy little thing I am too lazy to make

One minor glitch: your background image in the table doesn't work (I think maybe photobucket might be one of those sites where you have to log in).  I replaced it on my table with a random picture of snowflakes.

How's everyone doing today?  I did NOT make it to the pool last night, but I doubled up this morning with swim/run, which actually worked pretty well.  The run was a bit shorter and at a bit of an easier pace, but I got both things in.  Tonight I've got some strength training on the agenda, which is pretty easy to do @ night because I have the weights in my house.

I think you're right about Photobucket.  I saved the picture and added it to my BT album, so I will update the HTML with that picture.

Jen, Is it just mine or is something not right?  I am having trouble reading this.  It looks like there is some background of an inactive account that is making it difficult to read.

There was a problem with the initial table.  It should be fixed now.  Can you look at the table on the previous page again?  I just changed the link to the picture.

Well I just got back from the pool.  I do all my swimming on my lunch.  Felt a little sluggish today.  But all and all it was an ok swim.  Still have a lot of improvement on my pace time.

I just finished breakfast and am going to head to the pool for a swim soon.  It will be my first swim in 3 months...I've been avoiding the pool since I put on 20 lbs.  It is time to get over it and swim again.

Hey, think about it this way -- putting on 20 lbs. sucks at the pool from a vanity standpoint, but at least the extra weight won't really affect your performance as much as if you were running/biking.

I made it to my Pilates class today so accountability is still good (two days in a row).

I'll be running (I use this term loosely) tomorrow.

No kidding...Aero position in the bike sucks!  my gut totally gets in the way.

I felt much better swimming than I expected.  My cardio fitness has really improved since I took up tris.  My arms have certainly lost endurance though.

I turned my swim into a double brick!  it was fun.
I think I will make it a Wednesday routine (minus the run...it made me late to my Wednesday afternoon appointment).

Oh...you just reminded me of another reason I need to lose some weight.  You know, apart from the two weddings I am in this spring and will be in lots of pictures at.  I hate riding in aero with the gut.

Hmmm....maybe a group weightloss challenge?  I don't usually like the weightloss challenges because losing weight can be so unpredictable, but maybe I can think up a way to do it so it's less annoying.

Hi, thanks for letting me join the group. It's gonna take me a little while to read through the pages and see who's already here.

I just finished my 3rd season of tri but it wasn't the season I was hoping for. My first year I did 2 sprints, the first was with a pool swim. Second year I did 3 sprints. This year I was to do my first Oly, but I injured my heel in June and couldn't even walk a 10k in September. I've been rehabbing for months but I'm still not up for full running. I'm already registered for a sprint and a sprint relay (swimmer) but I really don't know how my running will go, so I don't know how I should fill out the rest of my calendar for 2010 (thinking about a few swim/bike events!)

Biking is my first love and is my strength. Running in my downfall. I've really come to love swimming, too.

I'm 48, parent to a 13 yo girl and an 18yo boy (college freshman), and in a long-term relationship with my partner (and TriSherpa) Michele.

I think I may have done a tri that Jen also did, but we haven't met yet; hopefully this year! Rocketts Landing?

I hope that seems less disjointed to you than it does to me!

I need a weight loss challenge as well.  I eat too much crap, and these next two weeks there is going to be an abundance of it.  I know running would be so much easier if I lost 10 pounds.

I'm not sure I'll get my workouts in this week.  I'm playing nurse for my husband and taking care of everything in the house.  We're planning on travelling to see my grandparents this weekend if hubby is up for riding in the car for 4 hours.

Welcome Nicole!

Taking care of husbands can be a big job.  At least, mine can be kind of a baby when he's not feeling well.

Hope he's on the mend soon.
