Swam today.  My rotator cuffs are talking from yesterday's medicine ball throwing.  Guess I will be doing some yoga to stretch them later!

Yanti - I walk into the living room today and there's Maggie The Cat splayed out flat on her back in a sunbeam (her usual sleeping position) but with her soccer ball tucked into her arms. Awww ...

So in the spirit of upside-down-pineapple-cats:

Everything about your post just made me really happy.

It also made me miss Biscuits. I really want to get back to the Funny Farm. My father keeps cooking up elaborate yet irresistible plots for me to stay. Crafty barsted.

owl_girl - 2011-05-04 6:53 PM I got my new computer!!!  I'm so excited!!  Now I have to figure out how to use a Mac.

Congrats!! Hope you love yours as much as I do!  Trust me they're pretty easy to learn so it shouldn't take you long to figure it all out.

I am officially done with school forever!  And I'm exhausted!!  So I'm spending the afternoon being lazy on the couch watching tv.  Tomorrow I'm going for my first run of the month to celebrate school being over!

My daughter and I went to the vet to see my poor sick kitty.  He hissed and growled at everyone from the vet office but was nice to me.  He might be able to come home tomorrow.

Hi kids! Well I've had a busy couple of days, almost looking forward to going back to work tomorrow (!) to get back into a routine ...

I seem to be suffering a wee bladder infection, it really impacted my bike ride today and I'm quite worried about how I'm going to swim and run tomorrow ... especially the run. Well - hopefully by tomorrow I'll be feeling better. Yell

Well, spin class didn't happen this morning.  There's just no way I would have gotten home, showered, #1 on the bus, hubby to work, #2 to preschool and myself to work remotely on time.  So then I went all the way over to the Y for a lunch spin class just to find out that today's the first one they cancelled for the rest of the spring/summer.  I hate when they don't update the schedule!   Grrrrr....  I ended up buying some awesome flower pots at Marshalls for my back deck instead.  Tongue out

I did actually get on the drainer tonight though... Would have preferred a margarita.

I take this back...  I made the mistake of cracking open the garage door for him to come home.  And how does he repay me??  He left us a bunny head on the doorstep.

Yes, that's right.  Just the HEAD.  Gross!!!!!!!

Friday is my usualy day off.  But with all my unscheduled days off I'm wondering if I should get something in anyway.  Not sure when though...  I have to run out of work to pick up the kids, feed them something in about 15 minutes, turn around and drop #1 off at soccer by 6.  Leave her there with hubby and get #2 over to the school by 6:30.  There's a K-1 "Read-In" at the school tonight that both girls are excited about going to.  Hubby and #1 are supposed to meet us over there after practice.  It's not supposed to end until 8:30 though and I imagine we'll all be tired after.  Maybe a delayed Cinco de Mayo margarita instead...

I did help pack a gazillion boxes of food already this morning as part of the MDRT Foundation's Food Packing Challenge...  Does that count as anything?

So I will definitely need to get the old heart rate pumping today so I can work off lunch...  Hubby talked me into meeting him for lunch which was great.  It was lots of fun, and the sun is out, and it's just one of those NICE Friday afternoons.  But I'm full...

And Rachel - I was thinking of you on the way back to work after lunch.  It's so sunny and warm and happy, one of those roll down the windows and crank up the radio kind of days.  And Lady Antebellum came on the radio...  How was that concert a while back?

Tomorrow I'm doing a 100 tour ride.  I'm still recovering from the flu, though.  I'm super wore out.  I just don't have any energy.  I may drop down to the 50 mile.  I don't know.  Blah!
