I agree with you on the attention span thing. We hear no more about Japan, or even the aftermath of the tornadoes in the south. I'm tired of hearing about Bin Laden. I need to stop reading the news.

I am so over the news I NEVER watch it on tv. I have never heard may popular peoples voice. I read news papers on line and check out the BBC, CNN and NPR news. It is amazing. if you read the BBC you find out that there are tons and tons of things happening all over the actual world that the good old US of A pays no attention to at all.

I'll check back in a bit after dealing with some work-like stuff.

I never watch it. I do read CNN, Foxnews, Reuters, and some local websites. I need to find new things to read.

I found that I get mad and can't do a thing about it. So now I read stuff on running, gardening, and other things that pop into my head. I am ill informed but in a better mood. I think we call that dumb and happy

but the post moretum rhetoric feels more like a lynch mob than justice.

I 100% agree with you on this.

I'm not rejoicing. This didn't bring an end to terror, it brought an end to 1 man. If anything I am a bit fearful of retaliation now. I work on a military base, yes, it should be safe, but it can also be a target.
