I really don't see the Bulls winning 3 in a row, but... I have to believe they can win game 5 on their home court, right? Maybe if they play a perfect game, they can steal game 6 in Miami, possible? Then anything game happen in game 7, correct? See the way I talk myself into these things, it's horrible! I think some things have to change for the Bulls next year because the Heat aren't going anywhere and I don't want lose the Eastern Finals for the 4 years. I hear Howard is unhappy in Orlando, how about a combo of Rose and Howard? As far as I'm concerenced the only untouchable player (unless for James) is Rose, everyone is on the trading block. |

They deserve to at least win that game in their home court, they have played incredibly hard all these games and just came up empty. Having said that, i dont think they will. I listened to a few of the post game interviews and they sound extremely frustrated, they have played incedibly hard, left every ounce of energy on the floor and still hasnt been enough to beat Miami since game 1, and i think is starting to get into their head that they just cant do it. One thing i can tell you, is that i certainly wouldnt want Miami to go back to Chicago for a game 7, my nails wouldnt survive that. The Bulls certainly ahve to do something. Miami is only going to get better. Haslem and Miller will be healthy next season and we have gotten a glimpse of what that rotation can acomplish. In addition, they will have a lot of veteran players lining up to play for the minimun in order to have a shot at winning the championship. The Bulls would have to give too much to get Howard. Noah certainly would be a requirement and Deng as well plus a couple of other guys. I think that would turn Chicago into a great regular season team, but not enough for the playoffs. Howard is easy to neutralize in the last minutes of game, just foul him, so you cant count with him down the stretch. They would find themselves in the same position depending just in Rose to creat offense in the last part of the game. For them the best move would be to go for a shooting guard, get a serviceable point guard that can play the two, and perhaps a big that can shoot to space the floor with those double teams. It is funny that you mentioned that you prefer NOah to Bosh, but i happen to think that Chicago needs a guy like Bosh. Bosh and Rose would dismantle a lot of teams with that pick and roll. Something that Boozer forgot how to do as soon as he signed the contract. That guy should spend less time trimming is eyebrows and goatee and ask Jo to teach him how to place defense.

Regular 525 | Subject: RE: The Heat is on I will say that I have been impressed with Bosh this series. He is the easy one to pick on in this big 3. In this new NBA I am not sure that two stars can get it done anymore, and I don't think that either Boozer or Noah could be that third guy if Chicago could land someone else. Boozer has some chip on his shoulder and believes he is a much better player than he really is. He shows flashes where you think he might be able to put it all together, but just has no consistency. Noah is a poor man's Anderson Varejao, Andy's offensive game is superior and they play the same type of annoying but very effective defense. I will again echo Colin Cowherd's sentiments that this Bulls team is built just like the Cavs of the past few years. Mediocre talent around 1 star. It has really become evident that the star is able to carry the team for 3 quarters, but then has nothing left in the 4th Q. What is Rose shooting in the 4th Q against the Heat? It's not pretty. One guy can only do so much. This is the biggest difference with LJ this year, he has gas left in the tank in the 4th Q. He is able to facilitate in the first 3 Qs and let Wade and Bosh do some of the heavy lifting. In the 4th when the game is on the line LJ is handling the ball and the defensive assignment of the opponents top player. I also think that it will be very difficult for any team in the East to land one of the 3 game changers who might be available, Howard, CP3, or Deron Williams. Why would any of them want to have to face the Heat before the NBA finals for the next 5 years. There are more opportunities in the West right now, and after the Heat get through the more physical East maybe they have a chance to beat a worn down team. The West just makes more sense for these guys right now. |

Master 1795 Boynton Beach, FL | Subject: RE: The Heat is on Great game and Heat really didn't deserve to win that one based on their slow start and pace of play at some points in the game. Love the ball in James' hands, but a few plays he would dribble down, burn 20 seconds and take horrible shot. Nobody seemed to be eager to want the ball outside of Miller. That said, they won and I slept well. Somebody just send me a PM when Wade decides to start playing. If I was Chicago, this is what I would be most woried about, Wade getting HOT would be icing on the cake for Heat. |

Chicago deserves to win this game in front of their fans, but i don't think it will happen. Miami seems like they are on a mission to prove everyone wrong and don't think they will take the Bulls lightly just because they are ahead 3-1. But we shall see. The Mavs are up for a rude awakening doesnt matter who wins between Miami or Chicago. They have won 3 games that OKC just gave away in the last 4 min. Neither Chicago or Miami will do that, and both teams will rough them up....Should be an interesting final. |

He just doesn't have that compative edge to be the best at all cost. With that being said, he is by far the most talented player in the league and sure is fun to watch him do it all. There is a statistic being floated around espn somewhere and I'm goign off of memory, but I want to say only 5 or 6 teams have won a championship without at least 2 Hall of Famers. Lebron was just being smart. Ask Derek Rose how he feels having no help. He is basically in the exact same situation Lebron had in Cleveland. He 100% did everything possible to drag that team to 60+ wins a season and just had no help. If Rose is still title-less in a few years, don't be surprised if he does the same thing. |

Honestly, I'm hoping he's on the phone today with Dwight Howard talking him into pulling a Carmelo Anthony and the Bulls giving everything but Rose to get him. Then going after Crawford as the shooting guard. The saddest part of it is there may be a lockout on the horizon that makes the NFL lockout look like a child's cartoon. I sure hope not though |

Howard and Rose would be a huge team. Or convince Paul to join as well. Either one would lead to some serious match ups between the Heat and the Bulls in the future. |

What was amazing to me... ( not that there will be a lockout) is that basketball is the #2 sport in terms of popularity worldwide, following soccer. A few players have said they would sign contracts overseas and still get a decent sized check while it all worked out |

Well said,, and I'm someone that grew up about an hour outside of Cleveland and enjoyed that the cavs got the first pick that year (cough, cough fix,, draft fix ) I'm glad they somehow got the 1st and 4th pick this year (cough, fix again cough) I didn't like the whole "the decision" is to help kids angle, It was a nice attempt but it really fell flat with the way it went. But not everything goes as planned. I honestly don't think he thought how much him leaving would effect people, that live shot of someone immediately burning their leBron jersey, then it cut to LeBron showed honest shock on his face... which shows me his ego isnt' that big. I think it was a given that he would join his best friend D. Wade and live in South Florida. Heck I got out of cold dreary cleveland for another job and to live closer to my sister as fast as I could
I just think this year is a changing of the guard so to speak,, it's the last year Dirk and J. Kidd will have a shot at a title. too many young up and coming teams |

Everyone was going to give him a max contract so there was no negotiating of salary. Well it's only my opinion that it was ineveitable... not many people remember that lebron and wade signed shorter contracts than they could of prior the ones they just signed.. lebron basically said that they wanted to resign before the new CBA was reached or put into place which I thought was a very smart savy move at the time. And he also said words to the effect that he would like to see how the leauge is and weigh his options where he would sign at that time. I think he realized back then the Cav's might not be where he wanted to be. He also was the the person that Wade credited for not signing a longer contract. I give him huge credit for that. again it shows he is a very intelligent person. The big rumor the last two years he was in Cleveland was that he would never commit to saying that he was staying which derailed the cavs in attracting anyone to sign with them.. Who would go to cleveland and play when the don't know if he is leaving or staying. Not that I blame Lebron at all.. It made sense to have him be tight lipped about where he was going.
about him leaving,, An old friend of mine that is a Police officer in Akron was saying all along that the rumors were he wasn't resigning.. I just don't think the people wanted to believe it. Hence the shock. Maybe he didn't know where he wanted to go, maybe he really wasn't sure where Wade was going either. who knows. |
