That was a classic defensive struggle between two of the best units in the country. I think LSU has more talent (read their WR actually CATCH the ball) but I think that it will probably be a close defensive game. Pretty even teams as far as everything goes, we tend to be a more disciplined team as far as turnovers and penalties go, they move the ball a bit better than we do. I am hoping JaMarcus Russell is still having nightmares about last years game which he spent on his backside from our pass rush. Either way it will be a great game and I don't think either team walks away with it. |

It seems that the other Gators on here can take it and dish it in a "good natured, its football season" kind of way, but you have to get your panties (worn underneath your jean shorts no doubt) in a wad over the fact that the Mighty Crocodiles are going to an unimportant second tier bowl. Guess what if we don't beat LSU Saturday we are right there with you.....if you don't win the conference then whatever bowl you go to doesn't matter, all it is are 15 more practice days toward next season. Get over yourself and your Gators, face it at 8-3 you had your best season in years with a new coach and you beat your biggest rivals all in one season you should be happy with that. But instead you and your jean shorts wearing, mullet having bretheren, have to disparage other teams to make your accomplishments seem bigger. I thought it interesting that at last years UGA v UF game when we were up 24-7 at half time the UF side emptied and half of your fans didn't come back, what kind of loyalty or encouragement is that? You were so spoiled by the Spurrier days that you don't remember how mediocre UF football was prior to his arrival and how fortunate your program is to have enjoyed so much success. On another note....any LSU BTers coming to town for the game if you want to ride Saturday morning we have a great trail here in town. PM me for directions. I can see one person who can dish it but can't take it. |
