Hey crew,

I just ran 10km tonight.. it was pretty slow, but I don't really care at this point.  Just super pumped to have done that distance.  You can add another 65mins to my completed run time.  Thanks.  Happy Running!

I got in 3.3 last night and another 5 miles this morning.  I'm just shy of 1/2 of my goal, which is appropriate since it's 1/2 way through the month.  I'll score 100% this month.

I got another 29 minutes in last night, on a typical snow/ice/slush covered trail.
No problems.

So I've got an long outdoor run scheduled for tommorow and seeing how victoria is getting a dose of what it is like to live in canada (-10 wind chills people!, which i know is when the shorts start coming out in the praries, but humour me and my wussy self ), what do people run in for that weather. When I lived in Sask I never ran in the cold unless it was from the car to a heated location, so I'm not sure how to buddle up if I'm going to be running for an hour. Any of you hardcore runners out east have any tips .

At minus 10 I might throw on a pair of long johns (not cotton) under my running pants. Or throw a pair of running shorts over the running pants.

For upper body I'd wear a long sleeve running t-shirt, over that a short sleeve running shirt, over that my running jacket. But that's here in Calgary where -10 is usually a dry -10 not a humid -10.

Hat, gloves.

Enjoy your run!

About the same here. Sweat pants over long underwear, a wicking t-shirt under a long-sleeved t-shirt under a light running jacket, then cover the hands, head, and ears. I wear glasses that help protect my eyes but, to keep them from fogging, my lower face is usually uncovered. That's ok for most runs if I'm warm enough on the inside, but when it's really cold you have to cover all exposed skin.
