| 1300 | Subject: RE: First concert? Favorite Concert? Can't remember who played the first but I'm pretty sure it was in '86 at the Spectrum Favorite = either - REM, Green tour '89 at the Spectrum. Or INXS at the TLA in the early '90s. It was a fun show where you could pretty much walk up to the stage at any point. There were only a few hundred tickets available. They played a lot of their older stuff and it had more of a feeling of being at a party listening to a band then a show. I've been to one or two good concerts in the past few years(Elton John and Billy Joel tour was great) but seeing live acts when you're in your late teens packs more of a punch for me. |

Queen. The opening act was Thin Lizzy. It was at the Omni in Atlanta. I've seen numerous Jimmy Buffett concerts. Oingo Boingo was tops, also. Many more concerts up until the mid 90's. Saw an ACDC concert and was deaf for three days afterward. Will not risk damaging my hearing again. Those were some good times. Hmmm, Miss me some Oingo.
