I waited 7 months... I cant tell you when you might see one. Have your LBS contact their specialized rep and find out when.

I know they are a good company that's why i put my money down for a brand new bike design, it's just frustrating expecting my bike in next week to find out it's going to be another 6-8 weeks. The snow is melting around here so i could actually be using it, i guess i need more time to practice swimming anyway.

I understand... I bought a P2C while I was waiting for my transition. I'll sell you mine if you want one really bad?

What I heard from a Specialized rep was that they'd rather be a little behind on delivering a bike or a frame than to deliver something with poor quality.  I hope you and everyone else waiting for a Specilaized has a bike arriving soon as I really enjoy riding the Transition Pro I have now.   Good luck!

This statement is often used by manufacturers who are behind on shipments, and most of the time it not true. People are more willing to accept it however than.... "we're rushing these bikes out as quick as possible to minimize the bad PR, hopefully they'll be ok"

I own two S-Works Specialized bikes, and use to be a big fan of their products, but it seems like they've really gone down hill on customer service in the last six-months.

The Specialized Concept store in Kansas City (Epic) has two Transition Comps in stock, both mediums. They have a large Comp coming in but the guy at the shop said it could be April/May before it actually arrives. He also said Specialized has commited to filling all their backorders by end of May.

I recieved an update from my LBS yesterday that Transition Pro I ordered in December is now showing June as a date. I am willing to wait, as long as it is going to show up.

I didn't write it...Matt Russ our head coach did.

I was there and was holding the bike when he took all the pics and I just wasn't "WOWED" by the frame or the overall set up of the bike. It also seemed heavy compared to my Plasma and B2.  It's my opinion only, other people have been very impressed by it.

It was the low end bike though, I'm thinking the Epic and the Pro would be pretty significantly lighter.

Probably, but I am convinced that the Sworks is like the Yeti or Bigfoot. It's been sighted but no one can confirm that it really exists.

I saw Bikesource in Denver, CO, had a bunch of Transitions, including the S-Works. I've ridden a number of Specialized road bikes over the years, and am a fan, especially of the S-Works line. The new S-Works transition definately looks sweet, but that's alot of coin for one, very "specialized" ride. It did give we a warm fuzzy, though, when I touched it. At that point, I quickly 180'd and ran out of the shop, for I did have my wallet and had to abort before something rash occurred.

No I just got the frame and fork and built it up from scratch.

The base bar is a profile cobra wing.

they are supposed to be pretty easy to come by now is what I was told. Mine has taken forever to build because my crank was on back order and some other parts were not ordered.

Interesting...still waiting for mine - I'd like to have it before St. Croix, but who knows at this point.

Gonna post some more pics for me to drool on while I wait for mine to come in? Yours is the first pro model I've seen.

That is the best looking bike out right now in my opinion. Just beautiful. My wallet can't handle the S-Works price tag. Not to mention, my wife would leave me! Congratulations to all who have new toys though! That is one sweet bike.

Here is a recent pic I took of my Transition Pro with the ZIPPs on.  It's a little dirty because I took this after a ride.  I plan to get a better pic showing the other side with the Dura Ace crankset.
