Thanks for the inspire mes.  I was alittle behind getting my training posted. My back is still a little funky, but it's coming along.

Good luck to all the racers this weekend. I'm not racing myself, but I did just get back from my long run, and I had to come share: 9 miles! My furthest yet, and although it was hard, it wasn't really "hard." I took walk breaks frequently, and I think that helped a lot. Happy Friday everybody.

Morning PPE's, happy Saturday. What does everybody have on tap for today? I'm going for a long walk to loosen up my legs after yesterday. I also have to do some serious shopping.

had a row this morning, trying to get motivated to put my tights on again. My tea pot has become my best friend, and I've gotten wrapped up in wedding invitations....most...step...away...from...wedding...porn....

I am having a rest day (at least from swim/bike/run).  I will be painting the living room, then a birthday party for my nephew later on.  If it doesn't rain, we might get a load of gravel for the parking area in front of the house and that will involve a lot of shoveling!

Tomorrow's the 5k in the morning, then another kid birthday and then Tuesday is my son's 2nd birthday party....lots of cake to tempt me!  What I try to do is only eat cake scraps from the kids, then I don't overdo it.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!!  I see it's raining now....probably no gravel today.

Ran 7.5 with the 1/2 marathon training group and did a short brick (first time of actually fixing my own bike this morning, so wanted to see if it would hold). Good luck at the 5K, purplemamas!

Just wanted to let the team know there have been a bit of confusion about anyone that joined the challenge late. Mileage for any late entrants will be counted from the beginning of October so goals should be set taking this into account! Thanks Cat

Hey folks... my cold caught up with me today. Luckily, my doc put me on some antibiotics for sinus infection so by MOnday should be up and ready to rock again. Normally Sat is my long run day but got in just over 9 miles this week and can pile up some to make up for it as the month proceeds.

Happy racing for those racing and happy Fall! Gorgeous summer-like weather here in Wisconsin. (80s today) And we got out to enjoy some apple and pumpkin picking for a bit .

Nice win, Mike!!!  Lynne and I each added 5k to the PPE's total for the day.  We had fun at the Salmon Days 5k in Issaquah, WA.  It was mild weather and didn't rain as predicted, which was a nice treat.  The shirts were nice, too.  Turns out that my sister-in-law designed them. Small world!

Let's have a great and run-filled week!!

Hello team.
17.5 miles for me last week. I'm still pretty much right on target, and I already got my run in today as well. I have to say, I would never have stuck to my plan as well if I weren't on a team, so thanks to my PPE peeps for helping me on my way to Disney.
