That means it's going to be perfect for the one mile OWS race Judi and I are doing - we can't wear wetsuits. good, so much the better for me if I don't have the wetsuit sensation of choking me! I think it'll be too warm for a wetsuit anyway. The water wasn't bad at all last week. |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XVIII) - come join us :) So I took Pam's advice and did the ride tonight after work. Most on the roads, part finishing on the drainer...there's pats of the anatomy that are wanting ice packs...I had one stretch of road that I consistently managed 20-21 mph on and it leads into a gradual hill--if you're driving in a car it looks flat but get pedaling and it's a slow false flat. Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XVIII) - come join us :) I have to admit, I doubted I could ride that much after work. It's a pretty long commute and my husband got out late so I had to make dinner myself. I multi-tasked things...made my lunch for tomorrow and cleaned up some dishes while dinner cooked so that once I ate I could change, fil water bottles and ride. Even threw together my bag for my swim tomorrow while changing for the ride! |

LOL |

I never really went by that but for some reason people just start calling Jennifers Jenny. When I was in grade school, there were 8 Jennifers in my class. The teachers ran out of diminutives and nicknames to call them, so some were referred to always by their full name - first & last. Kristen was fun. I changed names every couple years. 3rd & 4th grade = Kris. 5th & 6th grade = Kristi. 7th and 8th grade = Kristen. Of course, when I took foreign languages in high school, I picked something completely unrelated...Ana and Lucie (Spanish class & French class). |

Both of my monkeys have longish names - with Elder Monkey, we use a nickname but she has now started telling folks (e.g., her soccer coach) that she prefers to be called her formal name. (News to us!) With Younger Monkey, we use her formal name and are dreading the day when someone starts calling her by the nickname (which we HATE). |
