I'm on it!

I consider myself to be somewhat handy, analytical, and excellent with puzzles and abstract thinking. And yet, this morning, after fidgeting/fighting with the straps of my new helmet for about 10 minutes, I gave up and used the old one (accompanied by words a sailor would have been shocked to hear).

In the era of super technical advancements on everything from helmets, to socks, to gloves, is this the best system for strapping your helmet to your noggin that society can come up with? Granted, it was 5:30 am, but come on people!

Rant (and 1st world problem rant at that) over.

Oh yeah... Pinterest.  I somehow started one of those and then never did anything else with it - I have, however been chuckling at some of the someecards that you've put up.  So many apply to me.  Maybe too many?  Nahhhh

Can you please let me know the name of the place you go to so that I won't make such a waxing mistake again?  I got a great deal through Groupon, but I had forgotten the golden rule that you get what you pay for. 

ugh.  sounds like there is a story here that will make me wince if you tell it.  (so don't)

Waxing your taint is not a self job.

I am here, waxed last week and I was happy I almost cried.  Shaved for a boating trip, and it was the first time a razor touch my skin in 5 years........

Anyways go to Trim, in Wicker Park.  See Sharron, she is the best!!!

It's not that bad a story - just that the person missed some fairly substantial areas and after a phone call to the place they told me that they would just take care of it on my next visit in 4 weeks or so.  Somehow I think they'll be waiting for a LOOOOOOONG time for me to make that call for a next visit.

trimmed is one thing, waxed is a whole other beast.  i'm with lisa, i'll never bother with it again.

i would consider laser removal though...maybe.

It's a weird thing to go into get waxed for the first time and know that person - who is a complete stranger - is going to have a more intimate look at your junk than anyone else... including your gyno!! 

But if they do a good (though painful) job - I'll go back.   

I've never had the vajunka bedazzled - and I know for sure that I'd get a lot less done during the day cuz I'd be spending so much time in front of the mirror checking my sparkly bedazzled self out!
