It is funny it does seem the same in dating and friends.  I have found friends in places I never expected.  It seems when you aren't looking for them is when they show up.

I have also had people I considered friends betray me as badly as any lover.

agreed with all of the friends/dating similarities.  building and maintaining good, meaningful friendships is A LOT of work.

I've been hurt by more friends than lover by far.

I have many friends. Mostly women. I have life long friendships that are super close with women. I make friends with the ladies very very easily. But I want more male friends. I only have 3 platonic guy pals in my day to day world. I'd like more.

Is the application form available online?

I am the exact opposite, most of my friends are men and I only have 1 real friend who is female.

Buy a truck.

My truck is getting old.  I actually have friends who own trucks who borrow my truck because theirs is too nice to haul mulch and stuff.  It amazes me.

I love the people who treat their cars/truck with the most prestine care, wash, wax, oil changes, maintenance checks........but their bodies......nodda

My truck at 17 years old and 160K miles is in good shape for its age.  The same could be said for me at 60 years old and untold miles.

I constantly say this about my body...It's not the age, it's the miles.  I was really rough on my body for a fair number of years, but I have maintained it fairly well...My cars too.  4 cars- 1 has 240k, 1-169k, 1-93k, and 1-92k.

And Happy Friday TAN!  I say this with a very painful head.  Sinus infection and on a Zpac.  Appt with an ENT later today.  left ear is completely closed and I have an Oly on Sunday.  WTH!

I am the exact opposite, most of my friends are men and I only have 1 real friend who is female.

I attract women as friends.  I get asked to do stuff and am included in group things with women all the time.  My best friend since 7th grade (that's 35 years ago for those following along) and I still talk every day and see each other a couple times a week and the bond is still that of our 7th grade selves.  We are stupid silly together.  Men though .. I try and make friends with .. but they don't seem to be interested in doing stuff or hanging out.  THAT is what I want.  I love talking to a guy and getting a different perspective on stuff.  I am grateful for the 3 guys that I do have, they are wonderful friends but 2 are married.  I want single male pals to play with .. not PLAY with.

I also am like Kate, more male friends than female.  BUT I will say, if they are single and now me being single, one night, good dinner, good wine, and a look......yup I cross the line.  I said many time I would not or its not like that, but I am weak and have little will power every so often.

But I do feel like once we get over that hump, the mystery is gone and I can continue being friends.

I hate this. My jeans barely fit my thoghs, but I have way too much room in the waist and butt.

Do the seams twist on you and make the thigh part twist around?
