Artemis - 2013-03-19 1:46 PM Oh, Yanti, can you PM me an address so I can send Mutti a package?

I have to ask the dumbest question ever.... who is Mutti?

Yanti's mum.

So Yanti's mentioned Mutti numerous times over the past week since her dad passed, but I notice it wasn't until she mentioned that Mutti had the BEST BOOBs did he ask who she was. LOL.

LMFAO... just a coincidence, I promise.    I was waiting, hoping that it would become obvious, and I wouldn't have to ask.

I have now promised 4 guys that at 30km in their IM marathon on Sunday I will flash my bewbs...to get them to the finish line...!

Such a bummer that you will just happen to miss them when they go by.

Yeah, it's good times.  Took it right outta HS, but I guess stuff has changed in 20+years, cause when I tried to transfer the credits, they wouldn't take it.  So, here I am again.  Ah well, just the final left.

Ok, poddies, need some help.  I want to get to running Barry Galloway style: 3-2-1 and Gallowalking.  So, I am building back up, increasing my running intervals by :30 each run, while going up a minute or so total running each time (so adjusting the number of intervals).  At what point do I go to running every day?  Once I am at a certain run/walk interval?  And should I take the total amount of time I ran in the week previous, and split it up over the six runs?  For the record, tomorrow I will be running 3.5min, walking 2 min (x5) and if all goes well, will be up to run 5 min, walk 1 min in about 10 days.

Oh, and Janyne, I guess you can take me off the DL please....

Phew thought you wanted help with Calculus....I was rarely sick but the time I was at school it was calculus - my teacher gave me the information on calculus and said catch up.  I never did.  It's something that I will never know.

What's the purpose of the run/walk? Just doing it while you regain fitness?

Well, just building back up slowly to ensure I don't re-aggravate.  When I first started running, I did 10:1 run/walk; that's how I completed my marathon.  I am pretty sure I am going to stick with it, even once I am 'back at it'.

amd723 - 2013-03-20 5:46 PM I do have good news, the owner called me, said the damage was pre- existing ( another parking lot incident where the other person did not leave a note) and that I'm good, don't worry about it. I feel so much better!

Great news!  I'm sure that's a load off!

Last night DH called his dad to confirm/reiterate our travel plans.  At that time he was informed that his dad's wife, Sandy, will be leaving for Indiana on Friday and returning on Monday.  A very important high school volleyball tournament, I'm told.  Sandy's mom will be there though.  Both Kevin and I were, like, what?!  We've been planning this trip since August and she's leaving town the day that we arrive and returning the day that we leave.  Nice.

In all honesty, it will make the visit with my FIL smoother but it's just... weird.

I always prepare a booklet of info for my sherpa (aka Kevin).  I include course maps, race info, etc.  I also fill in the calculator thingie and print it out so he has a clue of when to expect me in transition areas at the finish.  Sometimes I do a best case and worst case version.

Sadly, there are no manatees in the lake.  It's a reservoir created by damming the Manatee River.
