I think I'm going to try to track down "Bowerman And The Men of Oregon". I've heard it was good. I already read "Running With The Buffaloes". Excellent book on the Univ. of Colorado XC team. Mark Wetmore is a helluva coach. Other than that, if I can ever find a copy for less than $70, I'd like to get "Once A Runner". Hmmm. I grew up in Oregon, was friends with the Bowerman kids. Interesting. Wonder if it is them or their uncle. Nike right? |

When getting ready to go out for an extended period, I would always pack and repack like 50 times. Of course, I would end up packing too much, and would ditch it in my car before leaving.
