Alrightyyyy, here is what I have

Women's Asics Nimbus Gel (I think 10)
size US 8, Euro 39.5
under 50 miles on them

Tried them as an alternative.  While the right feels awesome, the left did a number on my calf.  Original box is gone.  First to PM/paypal shipping gets them

Okay, cleaning house a bit...

First up...a pair of Sidi bike shoes.  They are size 40's.  Not much use really.  And NO, I do NOT pee on my bike!  Mountain bike type....still have cleats on them.

And....a set of Bianchi cranks...165cm...so they are a bit tiny.  But hey...I figured SOMEONE might want them!

PM me if interested.

I'll see what else I can find....

In addition to this, someone PM'ed about the cranks too...

If either one falls through I'll let everyone know...otherwise, items taken!  Wow, that was fast!

Anyone tiny females out there in need of a very small tri top,  I have a Quintana Roo Women's Small that is WAY too small for me.  New with tags, see pic.  I think you would need to wear an XS regularly.  Just for reference, I wear a size S/M women's blue seventy reaction wetsuit comfortably.  I am 5'2 and weigh 105.  Size 4 in blouses, and it is WAY too small for me   My favorite tri top is a Sugoi, and it is a size medium, though.

I believe there is a pocket in the back...not at home right now.

So if anyone wants this top, it's yours, just asking for shipping.

PM Sent.

I also recieved some nashbar bike shorts off of this pay it forward, some  time ago.  I wore them a couple of times, and, like the original owner, did not like the way they fit.

However, I will offer them back up to someone who migh want them.  They are in like new condition, size Small/Medium (the size isn't in them) Mens.  I am a 30-31 waist, and they fit me great.

They look something like the Nashbar Stealth shorts, I'm not sure if that's what they are, but that's what they look like (with the white, flat stiching).  Would be a great first pair or perhaps your first pair of back-ups.

PM me-

maybe a bit on the odd side but the recent post in gear reminded me that I have a almost full pack of nipguards I'd send to someone who uses them...I'm more a fan of bandaids on the long runs.  I don't have the pack in front of me but I've only used maybe 4 guards of it.

Free to a good home -

I have an Orca full wetsuit, size 8, which I bought new in 2005, and used for three seasons. There is a small (~1/2 inch) rip on one leg, which never caused me problems and which could be repaired if you have some wetsuit glue.

Here is a picture of me in it: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/photos/show-album.asp?albumid=6505&photoid=45420

You can check out Orca's sizing chart here: http://www.orca.com/uploads/images/editor/Wetsuit_Size%20Chart.pdf

I am 6' tall, and weighed in the low 170's when using this suit, and it was snug (even though the sizing chart says something like 180 pounds).

PM me with a shipping address if you want it.

I am so lucky to find this thread. I am a college student too, and would like to get into triathlon. I have been searching triathlon stuff on the internet for hours and hours a day and hoping to find something that I could afford. I am in need of some instruction books or dvds for swimming, biking and running. And I have got a bike, but I only have a running shorts to ride along with it. Should I get a wetsuit as well? (or perhaps later on?) Thank you BTer's!

You don't need a wetsuit.  I didn't for my first 5-6 years of racing, and I still did fine (won my age group often).  You also don't really need books or DVDs.  The internet is just as good, if not better, for information, as long as you know what to believe and what sources to trust.  This websit has lots of good, free, articles, and I would put stock in them.  Ask around for more advice, and see what answers you get.

For the first 5 years of my racing I swam, biked and ran in bike shorts.  yeah, at times it was a bit uncomfortable running, but it worked, and i couldn't afford any more.  You only need the fancy gear for the long distance tri's and when you start to think you really want to step up your game.

Forcus on preparing and training, and have fun!
