Rode 70 min on the trainer with Coach Troy this evening, after running! I will update the spreadsheet right away. Here are a couple of pix from my final March ride! Do you have a TV in your garage? |

Here are a couple of pix from my final March ride! Do you have a TV in your garage? I put our portable DVD player in there with all my spinervals DVDs to 'entertain' me! At one point my two kids and my mother-in-law were in there riding trikes and playing "baseball", so it was sort of insane. And hubby was cleaning the garage around me, asking where to put this or that. Talk about multitasking! But I stuck to the workout. |

great work Leslie! one question.. the MIL was she riding the trikes or playing baseball??? She was mostly not doing her job very well of keeping the kids away from my fast-spinning, finger-chopping-off back wheel!!!!! Finallly I BELLOWED at them all and they left. It wasn't pretty but I got some peace! Lyssa, I am constantly interrupted in everything I do--it's my main frustration and I blog about that more than anything! |

As far as I can tell, this board has not used the TMI card thus far! I am sure you will be getting requests to post pictures for proof pretty soon! I just have to say, regarding Lynne, that she did try hard, and life got in the way this month. I talked to her a lot and she always had the best of intentions regarding biking, and felt pretty sad that she was not doing the 100%. I have been the victim of life getting in the way of training many times, and I just want to give her some props for trying, despite lots of roadblocks. She's an awesome person and did not intentionally not meet her goal. Hopefully for all of us doing the next challenge(s), it will give us the ability to really inspire those who are struggling to get it done, and also push ourselves a little harder in those moments. (Off soapbox now) You guys have been such fun. I am really going to miss my peeps. I will try to inspire and check in on you all this season, if we aren't on the April challenge together, that is. Feel free to add me to your friends list if'n ya want. I couldn't have met my goal without your inspiration, motivation, nagging and butt kicking! It was also a total riot to get to know you guys!!!! PEEP JOUSTERS< yay!!

THANKS to all of you who sent special thoughts and prayers...have not called home today, but he has been getting on my moms stationary bike and riding it! Hey he can join our next bike challenge!!! I hope that you will all keep me in your friends list and that you will stop by and visit on occasion....like every day! have a great day....and PLEASE kit! you guys rock no matter where we finish!!!! you are all FIRST CLASS TRIATHLETES in my eyes...and I am honored to know each and everyone of you! thanks for all the great laughs and the encouragement! If ya can't say anything good... I can say all kind of good things...where to start.... She has a really nice new hair cut.... She bought lots of great swim suits She loves to eat Peeps.... She is going on a long trip to Scotland and is going to have a good time.....plus plus plus but still wondering why her name is not on the list.....she is part of the team to the end. Did I strike a wrong chord...or is it me being sensy?!?! ;( I'm being a bit b!tchy because I feel she gave up on us.
Well I sort of expected this, especially from you. Seems I have obviously rubbed you the wrong way at some point. Probably round about Superbowl time. I do believe these challenges to be more of a fun thing and a good way to be and get motivated and usually when life and other issues get in the way it really can't be helped. I certainly did not "Give up" on the challenge as you clearly see from the past couple of my posts I feel rather bad about not making my goal but if you see it as "giving up" then I guess that's your problem. Don't worry Nicole. I will see fit to ask not to be included in any team challenges you are in in the upcoming months. Still, it is rather charming you see me this way when I've done well in other challenges. Excuse me while I spend the rest of day flying and rolling my eyes occasionally. I really don't need see the need for your comment however as not everyone made their goal. Not very good for our "Team Captain". Sheesh. That's all I finish with. That's all I finish with. come on girls...lets not go there! we are bigger then this! I am with Kendra....Lynne have you asked Cat about reducing your hours since you have been ill? I had to do this one month too! so how about an email to Cat! and have a good trip...I think that we all need to realize that we are all in these challenges for different reasons...and we have many personalities...some that will end up clashing...and we all have to remember that some of us are very VERY competitive and others are here to get the kick we need to get going...no matter what reasons we are doing these challenges, there will be times we will SOAR and other times when we will not make our goals! we have to realize that even though, it seems that someone may not be trying as much as you think they should, we all have those days that sometime lead to weeks of no-motivation feeling! I had one this month and actually stepped down from captain. I think Nicole has done a great job stepping in for me....I do not agree with her comment, but I know I too have made a few that I would like to take back....so, girls come on...KISS AND MAKE UP!! come on!!!! I know you can do it!!!! Lynne please contact Cat.....all she can say is no...and you would be helping your team! so what you say!?! |

Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors I've PM'd Cat. I'd prefer to be removed from the challenge altogether than just to please someone who obviously doesn't like me. I mean why bother? I inspired everyone on this team, even Nicole and never heard anything back. She ignored my posts too so in the end forget it. I'm sorry but if she feels that way then I'd rather not be included at all.
I doubt I will ever do a challenge again. This is really the last thing you need during a stressful time. Sorry folks, I mean no offence to anyone else as you all did great. But 40% just obviously doesn't cut the *good* list.
You are all still on my friends list and will still be harassed by me, so don't worry there. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors ScotinSeattle - 2008-03-31 12:35 PM I've PM'd Cat. Lynne, How many days did you miss due to illness? Subtract that number from 31. Divide that number by 31. Recalculate your goal as that percentage. For example, if you missed 5 days due to illness: (31 - 5) = 26 26 / 31 = 0.839 (Original goal x 0.839) = Adjusted goal I am sure that Cat will be OK with your doing this. She has allowed it for other participants in the challenge. We don't want you pushing yourself if you are ill or injured! - Dee |
