I had something weird happen last night. I was driving home from run practice and was trying to figure out how old I would be next summer during IM. For the life of me, I couldn't remember if I was 24 or 25. For 15 minutes, I had to think about it and do the math but still couldn't remember actually turning 25. It got so bad that I called my Mom to confirm. That's weird right? I mean it was hilarious and all but scary at the same time.

wurkit_gurl - 2008-10-14 10:50 AM I didn't have any spleen issues, that I'm aware of - at least if it was swollen, it didn't hurt. Just really tired, and the glands in my neck swelled to the size of baseballs and I had the WORST sore throat I've ever had in my entire life. I couldn't even sleep at night because just the swallowing reflex hurt. That didn't last more than a week, thankfully.

My brother just found out he has mono - that's how he is right now.  He can't eat anything solid.

richmond isn't far i could have mono by the end of the day.

trashy daytime tv, here i come!

He (and the rest of my family) lives in Milwaukee, WI.  Much farther driver.

You sound like this chick I met. She must've had a bad memory because our convo went a little sumpin' like this:

Me: So, what's your name?
She: What do you WANT my name to be?
Me: Um, OK. So, where ya from?
She: Where do you WANT me to be from?
Me: Yeah ... so how old are you?
She: I'm 18. Or 22. Or 42. Which do you prefer?
Me: OK.

Needless to say, me and Sugar, who was 19 and from Rio, had a bit of fun.

Yum. I love Mexican. I would make/eat it all the time if I could. But no, instead I'm trying to be healthy and am going to make some vegetarian West African soup thing from my Best of Cooking Light book, made with sweet potatoes and chickpeas, etc, which I am sure will be filling and nutritious and also tasty, but not nearly as good as melted cheese over shredded meat...
