I trained hard for the inaugural IMKY in 2007, only to crash on the bike and take myself out of training for 6 months. I went to watch some friends and even got to check in as an athlete and get the arm band. Still have the t-shirt, although I've never worn it. Watching was definately difficult, and is what gave me the drive to start over for 2009. So far, only a knee is giving me trouble, which won't keep me from toeing the line. Trust me, you'll be plenty motivated to make the next start-line you sign up for. |

Is everyone pretty well spaced out at IMLOU? I also wonder if they run out of supplies at the aid stations if you start at the back. For $500+, I'd hope not! |

T1 looks very empty when you come in! There was no shortage of supplies on the course anywhere, don't worry about that. You will pass a number of people, but that is going to happen anyway on a looping course. Have fun and don't forget to hydrate coming out of the hot water. Brad |
