QueenZipp - 2010-11-15 11:09 AM Did some strength training on my lunch break.

I want to know why Phil thinks the hunter training class I took 35+ years ago is insufficient for me to use a taser now?  Tongue out

Instead of getting deer with a high-powered rifle, in the woods, you're using an electrical stream, not in the woods, and needing to run after me - times have changed and new lessons have been updated.
She doesn't need to run. She has a bike. And a car.

Cars don't work too well when in the woods.  A mountain bike may work, but, having to get through the dense stuff would be kinda tough.

Here's the spreadsheet again.

There you are - trying to hide 4 pages back, were you?  Don't you be doing that again.

Bad spreadsheet post - you don't listen very well.  When we call out to you, you need to answer.

Had some weird dream/nightmare about an alligator trying to eat me last night.  I was sitting in a chair in water I think.  not sure if the chair could float or if there was a little island the chair was sitting on, I was too preoccupied trying not to get eaten to remember.  The alligator circled around me for a while and even jumped up and grabbed my toe at one point.  I swear something had to have touched my toe, maybe James's foot, because something definitely touched my big toe.  I was so scared that I actually woke up! So yet again I didn't sleep through the night.  Think I may go to bed early tonight!

Going to dinner.  It'll be the first time since our 5 year anniversary in June that we've gone to dinner together.

So, I was up all night with a fever and hacking up a lung...  I actually decided to take the day off and lay low.  And on the way to drop #2 off at day care, she puked all over the back seat of the car.  I think she was just coughing so much it made her throw up, but still we're BOTH home now...  Needless to say, I'm not sure how much rest or training or anything I'm going to get done today at this rate!

Emmanem - 2010-11-15 12:53 PM Anyone done a mud run??  My roommates and I have challenged my boyfriend and his roommates to a mud run challenge in April.  I'm really excited for it and I think it will be a fun thing for us to do to end our senior year.  If anyone's done one I'd love to hear stories about it.

No but I would love to try one.

Call me a wimp, but this just sounds cold to me.

I'm guessing that you won't be using the polar bear swim to collect crappy winter weather points?

The crazy thing is I would do something like that. I've run barefoot through the snow at -60 F and it didn't bug me. I'll walk my wife out to the car barefoot in the snow and it doesn't bug me.Things like that are short little things that don't last long and I can get back to warmth before my core temp drops. A race is long enough that my core temp starts to drop and it takes me forever to warm up.

Sorry you're not feeling well. All this crap going around isn't fun. My wife is finally starting to get better but it hasn't been fun. I hope things start getting better for you soon.

Actually I am in a most cheerful mood.

Just hungry, and itchy, and feeling sorry for the sickies.

It's okay ... we're all secretly preparing for a sneak logging attack from the Ghoulish at the end ... so I'm sure we're just mounting one of our own ... we're not REALLY only at 35%, uh-huh ...

You're fun to have on the team Yanti. I enjoy reading your posts. You seem to have such a good attitude about life, even when things are tough. I think that's why people like having you around.
