Rut roh. Marmadaddy's on the loose in CoJ.

Everybody gather up, smile real big, and maybe he won't notice Cordlet hiding back there.

Hello Arisanti. How are you today? I am well, thank you. Do you like the triathlons? I do too.

And this website is just incredible! Whoever is the owner and mod must be one hell of a guy.

Agreed! A top-notch site run by people who are clearly amazingly intelligent and knowledgeable.

I can't think of a better adjective than that. Truly top notch.

Monday Morning updates???

- Corporate Christmas parties are REALLY boring. But Latin Night at the bar is exciting! Danced like a rock star and drank way too much - don't need to detail that one for you.
-  Do ya'll remember the French guys I met last Halloween? Well the one I hung out with that night is back for 18 months, and we texted last night; plans for drinks this week. Ooh LALA I love me some French boys! Good timing.
- I ran 20.5 miles yesterday! Longest training run for me. Stoked about it!

Did Tough Mudder on Saturday. I'm still sore!

Tough Mudder road trip meant some good old fashioned camping, copious amounts of Yuengling, and pizza under the stars.

Sounds awesome! And by pizza do you mean pizza?

Monday Morning updates???

Date on Friday, we saw a really bad movie but then she made up for it. Saturday I watched UFC with my oldest friend then we went and watched a friend of mine perform in a burlesque show (fun and sexy). Then on Sunday I had a movie day with a girly buddy then we had a few while watching football. Overall it was a good weekend.

James, I just read your RR on your blog... I almost lost it when I saw the "I hate marathons". I've never done one, but I've had the "I hate running" moments in my 30k run. Very well written, and sounds like you had a great time... for the most part.

Both kinds.

We drove past a Little Ceasar's and I just can't say no to a post-race $5 pizza that's hot and ready to go... wow, that sounds dirty.

I thought exactly your last sentence, and then you said it. Nice. Did you get crazy bread, too? If you didn't, I don't know if I can ever talk to you again.

Apparently one of my buddies wants to do a TM with me. Could be fun!

It sounds like that. I remember hitting that same wall when I did my 30k last year. A little earlier than you did, but at about the same % into the race. It is a weird place to be. I am, in general, a very positive person, but that day, I was NOT. It definitely gave me a new appreciation for being properly trained.

Hahaha! I gotta go read that. I honestly hated running and marathons until about my fifth, I think.

Yeah, I am not sure that I was under-trained, but I am not sure what happened, I just know my brain and my legs were not on the same page. Seems like some of those miles between 19 and 22 are a blur.

Don't be silly. At home, you could at least be watching, say, Twilight, and RIO.

Heck, RIO at work. Who's watching, anyway? And if they are ... so what?
