I always assumed that meant that someone had sent you one and you just had to wait for the timer to tick down before you could get it.  But I could be wrong.

I get frustrated too but figure that if I could finish the game in a day what would be the point of playing?  I do wish we could gift money.  I know they would have to limit it since otherwise everyone would have the $$$ achievements, but it would be nice to be able to get/give $$$ sometimes.

Yeah, I thought of that too.  It wouldn't be fun if you were done in a week. 

However, maybe they could offer a way to get GF points or more experience by doing work of some sort.  I guess there is fighting...  I don't mind spending time doing work, but I hate just sitting around WAITING.

I thought of the gifting $$$ too.  That would be cool...  But make it too easy.  You could gift all the money needed to buy all the properties, then build it up fast to give it to someone else.

BTW, I'm at 450 billion and do the Enforcer boss fight about every day or other day which nets another billion.  Otherwise, I'm just getting 135 million every hour.  I would like to focus on the enforcer boss and build it up to 999 trillion and get all the money achievements at once.  that will take some effort.

I'm not sure about the special energy thing.  Mine said ready for days, but I still have to wait the 24 hours for the standard...  I got a quick 25% boost when I used the tool bar and it seemed to reset.  I thought that maybe you can get a mini boost every 8 hours or so with the toolbar...  grasping at straws.

wow, you are right...you can get the mini boost more than once!  OMG I thought that was just a one time good deal after you installed it!  I wish I had known this before!  And yes...my special one reset after I did that.  I know now....

How'd you get so much money so fast?  I'm at $540B and I'm making $325M per hour.  I don't do the Enforcer job much though...I figured I would work on russia and just let it "build" to the first Trillion then once the enforcer job was REALLY paying out i would do that...

Found a "fix" for the Moscow bug which allowed me to post a call for help for that final boss.  Now it tells me I need to wait for 10 friends to respond?  AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!  I see Jen Dicarlo has stepped up.  C'mon people!  Help!!!

Are you done with ALL of NYC and Cuba?  Maybe there was a prize in one that gives you an increase in income?  Maybe that's why I seem to be moving up fast?  I should track it.

Yes, I've been done with them for awhile.  But I have only been letting my NY income increase for about 2 months.  How long have you been at it?

Gaarryy - 2010-02-03 10:42 AM is there a cash achievement after the 1 trillion ??   I should be there by the end of the weekend if not sooner.   I was thinking of letting it ride or after cashing it in, buying more property so I can let it ride again at a faster rate.

To get the achievement I have to factor in the 10% cut right ???   meaning I'd need 1.1 trillion to achieve it

Also a tip...

I did it in two different ways (one with my character, and one with my wife's).  With my wife's, while I was working on Cuba, I was only working on obtaining the businesses for Moscow.  I did enough jobs to get the first one, then let it earn money for me to get the rest and upgrade...  I basically had all the businesses and upgrades before I really even started most of Moscow.  BOY does that help.  I always had enough money to buy items.

On the other hand, when I first did it with my mafia, I was alwasy short on cash and had to decide to buy items or property.  It got to the point I was doing jobs I already completed just to get cash to get items for the next job.  I was basically wasting my energy doing things I already did.

SO, in summary,  I have been doing the same with Bangkok.  Still working on finishing Moscow and slowing getting the bangkok businesses so I have a steady income...  GET THOSE BUSINESSES!  It may not seem inmportant in the lower levels because income doing jobs is about the same as the expenses to get the items.  After a while, it's not.

That would just make things too easy (as we discussed).

BUT here are a couple ideas I had.  I wish you could transfer money from country to country.  I have a ton of pesos, and I wish I could exchange them for something else.  Again, that COULD make it too easy, but they could charge a huge exchange rate!  Like 1 million pesos for $10k baht.  I have been saving up pesos like crazy and I still only have about 17 million.  Even though I don't need them much any more, It would be hard pressed to exchange it for only 170k in Baht.

In the same token, they COULD let you gift $$$, but again, pay a huge transfer fee.  Like you send 1 million, and they only get 100k...

 to be fair,, they started Moscow with different rules, then changed them mid way.  I think they have learned from their mistakes with each new opening...  I"m still waiting for vegas

Question about Bangkok.....is the idea to go through the jobs and try to keep both factions "balanced" or should you commit to one side or the other?  So far I've been trying to take the balanced approach.  Was wondering what others are doing.
