Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Nibbs XV So I just went through my entire Team T.I.T.S. roster, and left personalized inspires for each and every one of them..... Then, I went back to Tammy's log to leave another message about a missing teammate. And there were no inspires there. Now, I KNOW that I left one for her. Which means.... well, I assume that I left it on someone else's log. Since she's at 105% of her goal, I left a nice message. (You know the deal -> Great job! etc....). I sure hope whoever got her inspires, deserves it. LOL I guess that's what I get for trying to type (and keep all the logs straight), at 2 AM. BTW, I've been up since 6 AM. If I could think straight, I'd realize that this is a LONG time to be awake. However, fortunately for me, I can't think right now. LOL You know, I think there's a reason my brain is fried. :P |

Champion 6107 Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red... | Subject: RE: Nibbs XV Morning, Nibbs. Sorry to hear everyone is sick. (covers mouth & nose with hand) Next month, Elder Monkey turns 6. WHOO WHOO! I am throwing her a low-key birthday party next weekend (her first party, other than with family) and Sugar Daddy and I are planning on buying her a bike. (She has one of those midget bikes that started with training wheels...she's got the training wheels off, but it sometimes looks as if her knees will hit her chin...maybe I should post her pic up on the "Critique My Bike Fit" threads?) So...this weekend's joy - bike shopping. Yeah! But not for me. Boo! There is 1.5 weeks until my spring break. Sometime between now and 2.5 weeks, I need to get an article submitted for publication (which is keeping me up nights) and meet with a committee about being promoted to associate professor next year (which is making me nervous). (You thought being a prof meant working 5 hours a week. Ha!) Missed you all. I should be back around now, as I avoid unpleasant work and party-planning tasks. |

The hardest part is trying to figure out how low of an intensity I should try to come back at (LATE NEXT WEEK AT THE VERY EARLIEST) while still putting in the mileage I need to build for the half in April.zipp1 - 2008-02-27 12:38 PM It's official: I have pneumonia This is gonna be one tough recovery... Just use the best biofeedback system ever created...listen to your body...because I didn't listen to mine, and thought more about meeting my challenge goal, my body gets to suffer the consequences... It broke on its own or I would have been headed to the ER for a breathing treatment...20 min driving to the nearest one in our system in that condition would have been really ugly too. |

Judi, I'm so glad you finally went to the Dr. You don't want to mess around with pneumonia. My sister spent 10 days in the hospital in January with it. Take care of yourself and don't over do it. Sending healing thoughts your way. |
