I really need to stop exercising in the evenings.  It makes me wired and sleepy at the same time.

HIya!

Side note...sometimes...do you feel just...sad?  But almost okay?  But...overwhelmingly sad?

Right now, "almost okay" and "overwhelmingly sad" is almost every minute of every day for me.

But I keep trying to collect, and make, more of those precious few minutes when it is okay, and anything other than sad.

Jen,

Great.  Looks like you had a pretty successful summer.  Are you going to mentor again?

I'm not a fan of insomnia.  Just sayin'.  I think at this point I might as well stay up.

Happy Friday TAN.

Hey Jeff! You're up early!!!

Not sure about the mentor thing.... I enjoyed being a mentor, but I'm not sure I did such a great job - but there were extenuating circumstances that got in the way of mentoring & training this summer (I spent a lot of time with my brother & his family as he was in the end stages of his battle with cancer - kinda sapped me of my will to mentor and/or train for a good part of the summer, actually....) I might give it a go again, though.

Why can't you sleep?

I think it's because I worked out in the evening.  I've been having this problem a few times over the past month - whenever I work out after say 7pm, I can't fall asleep then I can't stay asleep once I finally fall asleep.  Also, I've been having some tummy trouble that has woken me up as well - not like potty emergency, more like cramps, aching, gas.  It's weird, not sure if it's a diet thing, a medicine thing, or what.

Can you at least lie down and relax?  I find sometimes that when I am restless like that it helps to just find a comfy place to lie down, turn on some classical music and relax.  Eventually I will drift off but it is nice to just sit there and think about nothing and chill.
