I went to bed a little after 6 pm and-after rolling over at 9pm, I slept straight through until my alarm went off 5 minutes ago.  10 hours...I wonder how long I would have slept if I hadn't set the alarm?

Nope.  I'll probably end up getting a sandwich from the cafe in the commons building.

It is super foggy outside.

Hope your day gets a little better.

Question for the Nibbs:  has anyone had a gold membership?  Think it was worth it?

The duathlon training plans are only available to gold members, so I'm considering it.  My membership is also almost expired and I'd get another month free.

Nope, I've never done a gold. I figure that if I wanted to do a Duathlon, I would just follow a tri plan and knock off the portion that I won't be doing and add to the other two. but then I'm not a pro! LOL

I finished my race schedule...more or less.  I am excited for the coming season.

I signed up for a paddle tri (kayak, bike, run) for my last race.

So Mel, are any of your races in Minnesota?

I have had a gold membership... in fact until it expired last weekend... I think its GREAT if you are using a BT plan and want to ask questions to the coaches that wrote the plans...

If you arent going to follow a BT plan or just want access to the plans but dont need the coach access in a forum the silver is plenty....

Evening, Nibbs.

I'm still grumpy, but I'm making green chicken curry for dinner and anticipate wine drinking, so the day could improve.

On the other hand, I have realized again that professional chef-hood is not in my future when I butchered an onion I was trying to dice. (Better than when I dice the chicken I'm trying to butcher.)

I'm competitive, but I know my limits. So I always set my goal to beat my last time. It is hard when people pass you, but then again, I remind myself that they aren't me.

I hope that you all have a great race this weekend and that the heat does not get to be too much.

I'm working tonight, so I might be able to pop on some.

Frank and I have played iwth the Wii the last 3 nights. I can see how it can be addictive. I actually suggested playing it last night (it meant I did not have to hear American Idol, which Frank is addicted to.)

Thanks! The heat is a bit of a worry but Ive ridden in it over the last month and I know about staying hydrated so NO HEAT STROKE for me this time!!!
