I likes building spreadsheets.

Yeah, I'm a dork.

I remember the fun times using Lotus 1-2-3.  Those were the days.

And Fortran programming.  And WordPerfect where you could "show codes" and actually tell what it was going to print.

I ran out to get a cup of soup, they are filming the Chicago Fire Show on the street where I needed to get my soup, they asked me if I wanted to be an extra, I said no, then I saw one of the actors smile at me and wanted to be an extra, but the new boss is in the office and I did not have time to be an extra......sigh

How are you undertrained? You did like four six-hour bike rides in 80 degrees in the past two months, you ran the three hours a few times and even swam a lot. I think you're plenty trained.

All fabrication!

Since Sept 1

Only 3 rides 5-5:30.  2 at about 3:15, and 1 at 4:15

Only 3 runs between 2- 2:30

Little swimming.

YIKES!  As long as I don't hurt myself, I'm good I guess.  And I got 17 hours on an easy course.

Wussy. We've done less than that and we're going to kick your lilly a$$!

Hi TAN!

Getting shiznit done today in a futile attempt to distract my poor little pea brain from events to take place in less than a week... but even BEFORE that, trying to actually get all of our paperwork to the lawyers so that our Green Card applications can be sent in!  YAYYYY!

Right out of college, I got in through a temp agency to work at Supercomputer Systems, Inc. (Steve Chen's baby that had a huge IBM grant backing to build the fastest supercomputer to surpass Cray).  I got to test computer chip components and log information in a Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet.  It would have been great to get in, but the funding ran out.
Here's a little more info on it:

I think Kido should hold 2Goggs under the water at the start - there's no rule that I remember that you can't do that.

My ploy is to make the excuse I lost because I was being a gentleman and let ladies go first accross the finish line (not because I was barely holding on the whole time)...

I already have my race report written to that effect.

Dear Monica,

Just a small message to say a huge good luck for Ironman AZ. I know you may be nervous right now, but these nerves are normal. Just focus on what you HAVE done and what you CAN do and control. You will nail it!

Make sure you keep your head, stay calm, smile and relish every minute of this amazing experience.

Have a fantastic day, and of course congratulations, also, for your forthcoming wedding ceremony in Vegas!
