Subtract that number from 31. Divide that number by 31. Recalculate your goal as that percentage. For example, if you missed 5 days due to illness: (31 - 5) = 26 26 / 31 = 0.839 (Original goal x 0.839) = Adjusted goal I am sure that Cat will be OK with your doing this. She has allowed it for other participants in the challenge. We don't want you pushing yourself if you are ill or injured! - Dee I've PM'd Cat. Hi - I have done goal reductions for a couple of people and used this formula - Lynne if you WANT to do this you are more than welcome... it is your choice... if you want to withdraw it is also your choice It may not catch you up 100% so its totally up to you I know Lynne's on the plane to Scotland now, so she won't be replying to this. Not sure what we ought to do, it's up to the team as a whole. you are her buddy...what do you think!? I am fine with whatever happens! I have a cute avatar all picked out just in case! maybe we should do some kind of team vote!? or call her on the plane! they have those phones....but sure would hate to wake her up if she is asleep and not feeling well...cuz we all know how she feels about flying! I actually have a PM from Lynne from before she went so I think I will just stick to her request since she has already left... hope everyone is ok with that?
Let me know... as the bad guys often say.... "you have 24 hours to respond" ABSOLUTELY...we are leaving as is...unless she said otherwise. Thanks again for all the work this past month SUPER CAT!!! we all appreciate it! |

Thanks again for all the work this past month SUPER CAT!!! we all appreciate it! You are welcome... I feel really bad saying that at least one team reached 100% so I think you guys may be Peeps for the month but I did see some clever stuff people did with the Patriots penalty for last month so there are options.... I will NOT be having a loosing penalty for the July Bike challenge (Tour De France Challenge) when I do it a again this year! |

Master 1688 ALSAGER, CHESHIRE. UK | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors Got to share this with you guys. Sunday was the local sportive ride. Two routes 60 & 97 miles. Due to lack of training I didn't enter this year but instead drove my riding buddy to & from the event. At the start I saw this young girl with a 24 inch wheel racing bike (kiddies size). I was impressed as I thought she must have been 16 to enter. It turns out that she was in fact 9. Yes nine! She completed the whole 60 miles in 6h 55m. Here she is at the start line, second from the right. The other two midgets on the left are my mates leaning on their bars. They're small but not as small as her.
Now that's what I call inspiration. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors Okay Peep Jousters. I am absolutely fine with wearing a peep avatar for the next month. (And no that is not an April Fool joke.) it's a whole lot better having a Peep avatar than a Patriots avatar. LOL |

Now that's what I call inspiration. You say you had a lack of training??? What are you talking about? You rode so much this month. That is cool that a 9-year-old did the ride--that's something my dad would have made me do at that age. One more stupid Yankee question--what is the definition of a sportive? |

Bollocks! Sometimes you have to log off and then back on.....and 50kb is pretty small, sometimes it takes a lot of futzing to get the pic small enough! |

Master 1688 ALSAGER, CHESHIRE. UK | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors CHR15 TREE - 2008-04-01 4:58 PM I overtrained last year & am still paying the price. There are four mates in this photo. Three went on a training camp to Spain about a month or so ago. They are that good & one's only about 10 stone (140lbs for the rest of you). The fourth has qualified (for his agegroup) for the forthcoming European Triathlon Championships in Portugal in May. They were riding together. Way out of my league. I thought about doing the 60 miler & branching off where the two routes diverge, hopefully having kept up with them to that point. It was fully booked by the time I got round to it. Never mind. I've entered the legbreaking hilly one in July. 102 miles but really think that will be too far for me as I have recently tried the last bad climb. It was awful after only 20 miles let alone at around 90. Think I will just about manage the 82 mile route. Fingers crossed.4everblue - 2008-04-01 2:24 PM Got to share this with you guys.
