Champion 5522 Frisco, TX | Subject: RE: Taser Running I think I could handle the donut challenge. Bring it on... Isn't there some race where you run a mile and then pound a beer, run another mile, pound a beer, and so on until you puke or pass out? I think I could enjoy "training" for that one. |

I actually drooled a little bit looking at the pictures. Hmmm...maybe that's a sign that I need to have something to eat. Every Friday, my company has doughnuts in the morning. Now that is torture. We have free soft serve ice cream in our cafeteria. I've gotten pretty good at resisting, but every once in awhile I cave |

Champion 10742 Ames, IA | Subject: RE: Taser Running D001 - 2009-06-05 5:56 PM Speaking of running and donuts.... We have the annual "Krispy Kreme Challenge." "Beginning at the NC State Belltower, each runner runs 2 miles to the Krispy Kreme store located on Peace St. in Raleigh. After downing a full dozen of the famous Krispy Kreme doughnuts, the runner must run the two miles back. All in one hour." And this is from their FAQ: Am I allowed to throw up? Okay, we can’t technically stop you from throwing up, and quite frankly, that’s just part of the race, but don’t MAKE yourself throw up. The real challenge is to keep all 12 down, so don’t cheat yourself. I think they closed the race at 5,000 participants this year.... http://www.krispykremechallenge.com /> If there are any "reversals" during our donut run the time bonuses get revoked |

Sounds like a great time *beer racing toppage* Every year at the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta on the 4th of July, they have lots and lots and lots of beer and donuts on the race course. Nothing official, of course, but I've seen lots of folks try to do one or the other ("puke or pass out"). |

Expert 1117 Shalimar, FL | Subject: RE: Taser Running So I know I've said it before, but I can't keep up with you guys! I took a mental health day today, and sat my butt on the beach this afternoon, and I come back to pages and pages of stuff! Cookies, cake, beer, wine, races... what is going on? But hopefully we are all out there running, right? And yes, I'm sipping (gulping?) a glass of wine or two to help that mental health... |

Except no beach, it's raining cats and dogs. Bryan did text me about how nice it was today in Fl. I think he likes rubbing it in! Enjoy your wine. I'm chugging mine too! (on glass #3) |

I might have to increase my goal (Dee says that is always allowed), but I am going to wait until after the middle of June to do it, as I have something going every weekend this month. Good job on the run and good idea on waiting just to see how the month will go |
