We picked up a wrist brace for her yesterday afternoon. She took it along last night to practice to have her coaches look at it, they thought it would be fine for her.

Good Morning, Ghoulies!  Hope everyone is staying warm! 

I am in my living room with a space heater, wearing sweats, socks, houseshoes, a coat, and a blanket with hot coffee and a puppy on my lap.  It is ure frozen outside, but no snow at this elevation.

Glad she is healing so well.  Wow, she doesn't seem to wary of getting hurt again at all, does she?!

Oh oh.  I wonder if they declare a state of emergency if that gives the schools any leeway to not make up each day.

WHAT?!!!   You did not pay attention to the "no more sickness"  memo!

After a little over 12 hours without power, it was restored overnight. Some other people in the area weren't so lucky, and it is only to be in the 20's the next few days, and single digits at night. The power company says everyone should be restored by Saturday. YIKES!

2 Hour delay so far. If they're going to cancel, they will do it soon.

Ann, Glad you got your power back.

I am determined to feel better before the weekend. I have stuff to do! Yesterday was a wash. I ended up napping waking up for dinner that I didn't feel like eating then going to bed. Hopefully today will be better.

Except for the being sick part, this isn't necessarily a bad day.

Yah napping by choice is a beautiful thing.

It is 45 minutes till my weekend starts! YES.

Happy FFFFriday!

It is about 4 hours until my weekend starts. When it does I am taking  a quick shower then going to pick up my dad, and we are doing our grocery shopping. I know you're all jealous.

Life in the fast lane WHOOSH!

You take care at the grocery. Good thing you have someone to have your back!  I am off to get my hair done and go grocery shopping, if I have energy. I want to do some more canning this weekend along with my other projects. I need to start making the cushions for the porch furniture this weekend.

So today is grocery shopping day.  Hmmm!  I did not have that on my list of things to do, but I am stopping to pick up cat food today, so does that count as grocery shopping for me?

My goal is to leave work around noon or 1pm today.  I have $10 Kohls bucks that expires today, so need to get that used up.  Hate it when I don't use it.  I also need to get to the gym this afternoon.  It has been hard this week as I feel bad that I have been at work all week, and poor Frank has been home.  Did have someone different drop in on him each day, so that would help break up his day.  Last night when i got home, found out he went up and down the stairs while I was away.  Made me mad that he did that without discussing it with me like we had agreed, but also made me glad that he is feeling that much better.  He cut his pain pills in half yesterday and only took two all day, so he is really doing so much better.

Oh, they finally fixed the heat in my office.  When I come in it has been 68 or 70 degrees.  My whole team is so happy.  Now, the guy who has an office on the other side of the wall, and happens to be on the same HVAC, is complaining that his office is too warm.  They pretty much told him that he would just have to live with it.  I guess being too warm is better than cold.  Woot!

Anyway, Weekend, 

Saturday - Run for God group run, then take Frank to a motorcycle function.

Sunday - Have a play, called Book Club, to attend in the evening with girlfriends.  

Good Morning!  The predicted snow hit our area yesterday.  It came down pretty fast and steady.  Businesses were closing early and such.  People out here don't really know how to drive in it, so there were many, many accidents. There were fatalities and some serious injuries, too.  Several on the freeway involved 20-30 cars and blocked freeway for hours.  People were stranded on the freeway for hours.  One friend said it took here 2 hours to go about 2 miles to an exit where she could get off. 

I worked, but all of my appointments came in early, so I was able to leave pretty early.  I doubt that I will go in today at all.

Kendra,  so glad that you finally have heat at the office!  And very glad that Frank is doing better.  Enjoy your weekend!

So, is the news now going to make fun of Seattle and snow and stop talking about Atlanta and snow?
