ceilidh - 2012-05-22 9:33 AM Dang, it takes a lot of work to get caught up when you are out of the office for a couple of days. Sheesh!

I think the best remedy for that is to quit your job. Less paperwork.

The paperwork is less, but the pay sucks

You could potentially make more as a pole-dancer, and work less hours. PLUS, really, how much could there be to catch up on if you miss a few days?

Hmmmm.... I would have to learn to pole dance first. The hubby would probably like that. I wonder if pole dancing clubs offer health insurance and a retirement plan?

Pole dancing as all the rage, there are even classes for it. It is supposed to be a killer workout, too. Lots of health benefits involved with pole dancing. You could probably even freelance or something. Set your own hours. Don't have to work in nasty bars, only reputable places. You should really look into it.

If all goes well, I can retire in 4.5 years. I could use this as extra retirement income.

1) There is nothing wrong with green ghoulies, but I see a picture of you for your avatar.

2) Interesting how we start talking about pole dancing and you show up.

HI guys!! I'm back online! yay! I was told Ishould come by and tell a story. So. Let me think....

There once was a girl who lived in a house, where the air conditioing only working at times.

She wanted to stay with the Gouhlies and play, But she had to get back to the grind.

The laundry was piling, the husband was gone, the kids just wanted to play,

But the day was young, the errand were many, and the repaiman is oonon his way.

(okay, so that was more of a limerick. I take after my grandmother).

My A/C has decided to go onthe fritz. Actually it decided to quit working all together the day before I left to go to S George for the tri, bt it miraculously came back on that night and worked perfectly. Until we came back home. It didn't work at all yesterday, or overnight, and it is feebly trying to blow cold air for a couple minutes her and there today. So the repairman is coming this afternoon (hopefully. I'm the add-on to an overbooked serviceman's schedule today). I have to run but wanted to stop by when there was better chance to see someone online. I'll be home in a couple hours to wait for the repairman. I should be back on then, unless I get distracted by something frivolous like cleaning and laundry. (who am I kidding? I'll be back! LOL).

My A/C works (as far as I know). Go make yourself at home. To get past my security system you just need to scratch the guards behind the ears, or give them a treat. They're very vicious!

Wow, I missed quite the conversation this morning.

Robin - the back is still there.  Dr and I laughed at how honest I was telling him what I did this weekend.  He said he couldn't yell at me since I had already taken care of that.  Anyway, we are still working on it.  I have promised not to run or bicycle, or motorcycle (well, I might be a passenger on Monday).  He said that I could use the recumbent bike at the gym.  I forgot to ask about swimming which I think will be okay, but I will email him.

Ann - Hope that it was good news on your MIL this morning.  And I hope that your BIL takes he rehab well.  Glad the ortho visit went quick.

Melindy - Thanks for playing drawsome with me.  I'm enjoying that game.

Poledancing - I went to a strip club once years ago in OK.  My sister and I talked her hubby and my friend into taking us.  One pole dancer was so skinny that she was sticks and bones.  The other had more rolls and you weren't sure which ones were her chest.  So, I'm not convinced that pole dancing is a way to keep in shape.  I think it is just a way to lead up to PIZZA.

As for pole dancing - maybe the one girl wasn't doing it right

Morning Ghoulies,

I am off to the State Park this am. I am taking my swim bag and hopefully getting my head wet.

Pole dancing: Turns out those poles are expensive! I bet I could borrow Neal's.

Good Morning Ghoulies!

What busy weekends everyone has!  But they sound like fun!

We too were busy with a trip to see an uncle & cousin who were traveling thru and then a Sunday afternoon drive with friends to get pizza and visit with a group.

This week is a busy one for me at work (good for the income; not so good for training, housecleaning or visiting the village).  I will talk to you all later!

Well, between Amy and her kids crazy school schedule, and you and MIL, BIL and Bill, I just can't keep anything straight.  Just call me crooked from now on.

Glad that MIL is up and moving around.  Hope Bill's recovery goes smoothly.  And if your kids are getting out of schools soon, hope that they have a great summer.

I've been lazy today. But I did start some laundry, and take a shower. My busy time starts in about another 30 minutes, when I go pick up my daughter from school, and both kis have busy schedules tonight, and I get to play taxi. I'm hoping I can find some carpools to hook the kids into tonight so I can get the lawn mowed. It looks like no one lives her right now. I just haven't had the motivation (or time) to mow or pull weeds for almost 2 weeks.
