I can see it both ways. On the one hand, sometimes it sucks to get presents early. But, if she gets it early, she'll have more chance to use it with you and that will be exciting. Personally, I would give it to her early and try to make it special and make a big deal out of it. If you can, have another small thing for her to open on her birthday. This. And even when I was a kid I loved early birthday presents! Don't forget to give your son a little something too, to open on both occasions. Something as simple as a cool eraser is fine ... just something for him, too. My mom has said that when we kids were growing up (I have 3 brothers, all of us close in age), she had to buy gifts for ALL of us on any birthdays, otherwise there'd be tears for sure... What? Why would the other kid(s) get presents? It's not THEIR special day... isn't that the whole point of it being that person's special day? You people are strange Lisa, Lisa, I thought you would have been more observant and figured this out a long time ago ... Well, as for the principle ... here's an experiment. Make sure your dogs are with you. Now, only give ONE a treat. |

But I have absolutely NO idea how to do it. Anyone here know how? Nobody knows? I meant the data from my logs on here. as a short cut. Like I want to do all that work!!! Can't you just copy the charts and post it in the peloton forum? That's probably what I would do. Tried. For some reason it won't let me do the copy/paste thing. |

You people are strange Well, Lisa, actually, if you ask my mom, my (and my sister's) birthday is HER special day. Apparently a kid's birthday is not about the kid, it's about the mom (which I thought is what Mother's Day was for, but hey, who am I to say). She even wears little plastic dollar-store tiaras and everything. Yes, I know. You don't have to say anything. |

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: TAN 113 TANtamount to Anarchy G'night kids. It's almost 3:30am. I should sleep. Specially since I didn't sleep last night. And I have a long bike ride in the morning. And then I have to drive all the way to my OTHER house 'cause it's where the stuff is I need to pack. Durrr. And then I need to pack for my trip to my parents' in Jakarta (I hope it's not too nightmarish. I predict World War 2.5). Crap, I need to get my BFF a birthday present. She's a total alcoholic. Would booze be acceptable? Then I need to work in the afternoon. Then I need to pick up Widi on the way to my BFF's house. From my BFF's house, I get on the midnight flight to Jakarta. It's going to be a long, interesting day and then a really, really, really whacked weekend. One way or another ... an adventure. |
