Well Nibbs, I'm outta here

DD has a BB game 2 hours away and it starts at 6.  By the time I pick up C and get changed, it will be time to leave

I will check in later if it's not too late when we get back

Oooo, that is just so adorable... kids crying over melting snowmen...

I'm in Richmond, Virginia now. I grew up in Milwaukee, WI, but moved here about 4 years ago.

Where is home for you?

Ah, c'mon...folks in Richmond always say "abouts..." (BTW, I've met Jen once - she's not a 45-year old, 300-pound, balding man. Just in case you were wondering.)

... and people from Wisconsin are known to end there sentences with the word, once.  As in, "yah, I went by there, once".

... and, having grown up in WI, well, I drink from "bubblers"...

I'm indulging in a deep tissue massage at the hotel... T minus 15 minutes and counting.  Hey, my sports Dr. TOLD me to get a deep tissue massage while I was out of town... I'm just being a good patient and following his recommendation.

Morning Beth and Nibbs!! Happy Friday!

I'm excited because it's a 3 day weekend for me!

Now I feel like I killed the conversation.

Nope - we were just being silent because we're envious. Elder Monkey was off today for teacher work day/Lee-Jackson day (aside, yes folks - that is a holiday in VA)...and daycare is closed Monday for MLKJr. But my job isn't off either. Bah! Your school is really closed Monday? NO FAIR!

Yeah, VCU is actually closed for MLK day this year.  First time in the 4 years I've lived in VA.  The first year I lived here, I think it was Lee-Jackson-King Day.  That was really weird.
