Did they move the date of Cinci?  Didn't it used to be in May?  I wonder what happened...

I say the 'Burgh cause they bring it back this year after a hiatus of several years... and it used to be a major marathon.... I would run it but I am looking at doing a half at the end of May... so no to that.

It is on the top of my list... Running across 2 of the bridges would be cool.

What half? and are you talking HIM or half-mary?

JChristoff - 2008-10-14 10:47 AM So TAN pick out the marathon for me. Louisville (Ketucky Derby Mary) - April 25 Toledo (Glass City Mary) - April 26 Cinci (Flying Pig Mary) - May 3 Pittsburg Mary - May 3 Cleveland Mary - Mary 17 Which one should I do?

None of those cities sound very appealing to me...  I wont' be flying out there any time soon.

How about the Rock and Roll out west?

The whole point is that they are all bascially close... and would require very little travel. Louisville is the furthest away ~5 hours by car.

I say Flying Pig. Geneva-boy got some fun schwag from that race.

Like, Geneva college?

No, as in he currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.

Rynamite - 2008-10-14 10:49 AM btw, Amazon is the best place to download mp3's. It's DRM free, so you can put them on any device, they have a huge selection, and most are only 89 cents.

Nice!  I hate the BS you have to go through to get a song from Itunes and get it converted to something any other player can use...

Yeah, this is WAY easier. I've been loading songs on my crackberry all morning. I just open up 2 explorer windows, and drag and drop. Piece of cake.

I might have to look at that tonight.  I guess it's not as big of a problem after I got rid of my Creative Zen.  I'm only using Ipods now.  But if I get a crackberry, I would be right back there with the issues...

I bought my wife a 60 gig ZUNI about a year ago and it has gathered dust since then.  She is not a techno person.  No more techno gifts for her...

Wow, you really ARE busy at work.

I knew that was coming

I'm on the phone a lot, and I'm a good multitasker. I've been here so long, I can answer a lot of the questions off the top of my head...

No need to justify your time to me... You know i'm just teasing.

ATXtri - 2008-10-14 2:00 PM How was lunch?

Twas unsatisfying. Sometimes healthy food isn't yummy.

I would say most of the time it is not (for me).  It's mostly just "tolerable"....  Rarely scrumptious.  Even then, I would say, "imagine how this would taste with WHOLE milk, or MEAT - it would be amazing"...

The Burgh is awesome.  I really wanted to run this marathon, but no I am thinking about doing either Black Bear Tri or another HIM in KY... whose name I forget right now.

Yup, just plug into USB, and drag and drop just like it's another drive. Just make sure you drop the songs in the music folder. The crackberry does an awesome job. You can create playlists, folders. Sort by artist, title, genre, shuffle, whatever.

gracias....that's my plan this weekend then.....

Some healthy food is good - the veggie lasagna I made was good. But just tossing together a "healthy" lunch is never good.

I actually hate whole milk - I hate milk in general. I drink soy. But I LOVE full-fat cheese.

I LOF meat. Esp. red meat. But yeah, I don't eat it very often. Black beans are a good subsitute when it comes to mexican food, but meat is better.

Mine came with a 1GB microSD card out of the box, but I ordered a 4GB.

4gb is big enough for day to day use for sure...

whole milk for cooking, not for drinking...  It's too thick to drink.  I lof skim...  But for cooking, it just adds more texture and smoothness - cuz, you know, the fat.  Fat is yummy....
