Sadly have no incredible swimmy breakthrough to report....just an hour in the pool.  I did have a hot tri dude chat me up though... ....He was speedo worthy.

I am at 80% of my goal .

I have a swim race tomorrow, in the Hudson River. Should be interesting. I think the water is chilly and we have to swim out to the middle of the river in order to navigate around some piers and such. The current in the Hudson can either be your best friend or a nightmare, let's hope for the friend. I've heard stories of races where people were unable to move forward at all due to the current reversing. Good times!

That sounds like a great idea! So much fun!.. somehow I doubt that suggestion would be considered seriously at my university pool.

I would think the kids at the UW would be into something a little more alternative or progressive than disco, but it would be something to see and experience.  Our UW pool has music playing and depending on who is on duty will get the progressive station or harder stuff to listen to.  It's all over the board with music genre there - in fact, I heard country western one time.

60 min run....

best part, at the end i felt like i could have gone 60 more.

endurance is WAY up there.

what w thursdays spin and looooooong swim and this run, the thought has occurred to me that a 1/2 IM is a definate possibility.

even looked at the plan here on BT...and starting to scan the internet for good races w in a reasonable vicinity.

late spring/early summer 2010 im thinkin'.

shhhhhh.  dont tell anyone.
its our little secret.

No swim for me today. I was out for a 50 mile ride, working up the distance for my metric century charity ride. Found the headwind for the last 20 miles. The last 10 were really hard. I'm definitely not ready for 62.5!
