D001 - 2009-06-28 8:37 PM Well, I hit 100% of my goal last week. So I raised my goal. And now I've hit 100% again. I'd raise it again, BUT my shin is killing me. (Is it shin splints? Do I know? Ow ow ow.) BUT.... I did 9h 37m of running wogging this month, which is an absolute ALL TIME RECORD for me! Yay!!!!!!!!!! AND my running wogging feels LOTS better now! (Or rather, it did until my shin started hurting.) THANKS FOR THE MOTIVATION, EVERYONE! P.S. I hate losing challenges. P.P.S. Anyone have a spare shin they'd be willing to lend me for awhile.

Great job, Dee!  Now take a little time off and heal that shin

Hi everyones.

Hi Travis

How was your weekend?

Pretty good.  Watched a pro ITU race yesterday and raced an Oly today so I can't complain.

How about you?

Talking of that, I watch the team triathlon today. It was interesting

I thought about sticking around to watch that too, but I would have had to have waited another 2.5 hours

If the rain can stop just for 2 hours. This will be enough to ride

Ouch!  Someone tell Dee to stop tasering me!  I've only got .7 miles to go.  I'll run around the block later!

She takes pleasure at it, I am 100% positive about that

We should get her a crash test dummy, she could taser it all day long ...

I've been out of town on business with horrible internet access. I was able to log in a couple times, but gave up trying to update my logs. I'll update them soon, maybe during lunch.
I got back the Saturday, and had a race on Sunday. It was so much fun! Except for the 12 year old that passed me on the run, and the 70 year old that finished 3 minutes faster than me. Now I have motivation for my next race!

I hear you there.  I feel like I've been totally slacking in the inspiring department this month.  I'm going to blame work...

Huh.  A 65 year old finished 12 minutes faster than me.  That is very motivating!

Glad you had fun!

At my last sprint I passed the time on the run by counting the number of teens who were ahead of me.  Got to about 4 and then decided that there might be too many of them and stopped counting before it got depressing.

In my HIM one of the few people I passed on the bike was a 65 year old dude.  I was STOKED I passed him.  Then a few minutes later, he passed me.     I did end up passing him and dropping him but geez, good on him for being out there.  That is major inspiration.  I hope I am still out there when I am in my 60s!
