Heya Ghoulies

Have a fantabulous Memorial Day weekend.

I won't be around much. We have the annual Renegade country club at our house over the weekend. I have an appointment at the allergist tomorrow and then, maybe a swim, then... get beds ready and the house prepped for the incoming. This year it seems like fewer people will show up, but you never know.

Have fun!

Keri was the starting pitcher last night. I'm not sure who was more nervous, me or her. She did great though! She walked a few, they got a few hits, they scored 3, but we scored 15, and she struck out 7!

She can throw harder than she was throwing last night, and she'll get there, but last night was a great confidence booster. I was texting her pitching coach during the game. Keri sees her again on Monday. The opposing pitcher was throwing hard, but not accurate at all, she walked A LOT! The 4th inning they pulled her and put in a girl who threw slower, a lot slower, but more accurate. Our girls lit her up. Final score 15-6.

Good evening Ghoulies!

It was a fun day at the ballpark. My team lost, but the kids had a good time and that makes me happy. Keri had never ridden the Metro before and the look on her face today was priceless. We ate, we watched baseball, we ate some more. It was a good day.

I hope everyone else is having a slam dunk weekend!

It is so much fun to see the face of someone who is doing or seeing something for the first time.  It brings back the wonder of it all.  Enjoy!

I had a wonderful weekend.  We put on about 700 miles on the motorcycles over three days.  Talk about !  I am sore!

Of course it would have helped if I did not lay my bike down on the top of Grandfather Mountain.  Robin, next time you are there you will have to look for the stain I left on the road.  The bike is fine and so am I, just a little sore.  The guys had to ferry the bikes back down the mountain, and I got a ride with a ranger.  Oh, man was I scared.  And then I had to get back on the bike and ride for another day and half.

Hullo!  I am still here, just have been a total slug on workouts.  And I miss the link in the emails that take me straight to the village.  How lazy is that!

Anyway all is well here, except for eating like crazy and not exercising!  Undecided

Getting back on is so scarey!  Good for you for doing it.  Glad all is well

Good afternoon Ghoulies!  Another crazy day at the library.  The IT guys installed a new firewall over the weekend and did not have us up and running smoothly when we opened to the customers.  The phones were nuts.  But we got through it all.

I am still sore.  Going to the chiropractor tonight after work.  Might see if he can xray my foot.  It is really sore.  Not really swollen, but it sure does hurt.

Good morning Ghoulies!

It's been quiet here lately. Is it because everyone is busy, or because of the new site?

Keri is 9, for a few more weeks anyway. She has decided that she wants to play softball for the University of Tennessee. She asked me if I'd move there so I can watch her play. OF COURSE I CAN!

Good morning Ghoulies!  Today is a wonderful day.

I'm watering the yard.  After such a wet spring, now we are going into a dry spell and it was looking pretty dry out there.

On tap for today:

Dentist

Phone Interview

Training Team meeting

Close the library tonight.

Other than all that, a pretty uneventful day, LOL.

So, why Tennessee?

We have been watching the Womens College World Series on TV and she likes the Tennessee team. She's 9, so I'm not going to hold her to this decision.
