Dude, I am working on it! I offered to make him and his bro dinner before the bro leaves, and now I am trying to make that happen. But I don't want to come on TOO strong and push him away by being pushy. Most guys would get creeped out by a girl who's too needy. But no, I'm not going to sit around and not do ANYTHING about it. Only as much as I feel is reasonable at this point...once the brother goes, then it will be a different story. He's joined at the hip to his bro and I doubt he is thinking about much else, never mind me.

We're not at the "love" stage quite yet...it has nothing to do with that. If we were seriously dating and he blew me off for an entire month to hang out with his bro, then yeah, I'd be mad. But we're not even dating, officially. Therefore, I can't expect him to ditch his brother for me. They came out with us on my birthday, and that was only a week ago. I still have yet to hear back from him about doing dinner with them this week (only called him last night and he has his church small group on Mondays), and he's throwing that party on Saturday. So I will see him then. His brother is camping out on his couch and doesn't know anyone else here - of course he's gonna spend all his time with his bro. Once his brother leaves, if he doesn't shape up, then yeah, it's bad. But for now, I can't really expect that much from him. I'm not his girlfriend.  

I am sure he is single and available now after how doc and I tag teamed the daughter. (I refuse to take full responsibility )

We will see. He said he didn't want to rush into anything serious. I don't want to rush into anything serious either (which I'd already told him before he got all weird right before Christmas). So I don't think I'm being unrealistic by not expecting too much from him while the bro is here. I understand Z's concern for my well-being, and I'm not devaluing myself. I'm just trying to give him the space that he clearly wants/needs. I don't need to be in a relationship with a guy who doesn't have his act together, and I don't want to freak him out by being needy. If he's still being a douche when the bro is gone, then we will have to have a "stop being a douche- I don't want to marry you tomorrow or anything, so just chill out" conversation.
