disturbed275 - 2009-06-06 1:40 PM I should probably be doing something useful like cleaning my apartment or something
I have a better idea.... Come here and clean *my* place. Thank you.

And what's in it for me?  I have been known to work for food and/or beer

Wow. So if I offer you food and beer, you'll clean my place?

Cool! It's a deal!

(Wait until you see my place. LOL)

ebshot - 2009-06-06 1:01 PM I guess I should get my stuff together for tomorrow. I wonder where my race belt is. Hmmmmmm.

Lucky most of my gear is still in my bag from last weekend. The anal person in me will still unpack and repack everything to make sure it is still there though
I hear you. I pack, check, and recheck everything a million times... I was also one of those test takers who brought sixteen #2 pencils and three calculators to every exam....

Not only do I recheck my bag multiple times, I also set 3 alarms even though I hardly ever need any of them.

I only set two alarms.

I suppose I could buy a 3rd one though....

(And no, I don't generally need them. But I want them. Just in case. LOL)

I'm sensing a theme amongst our team here today and for once it doesn't involve food, tasers, or alcohol.

Well, after the race, everyone can eat.... and drink.... and I guess we could all stand around and taser one another....

Question about our Team Spreadsheet:

Why do the following people all have "1" entered for their miles/minutes/sessions:
esc
kaqphin
lambertjeff
losta
running4beer
Slugger -
LazyMarathoner

I can't imagine that people ran for ONE MINUTE. (Sessions, I can see being "1." But not those with miles or minutes.)

OK, I checked spreadsheets. Here are the corrections I made on the spreadsheet:
esc - 8.45
kaqphin - 82
lambertjeff - 87
losta - 4
running4beer - 2
Slugger - 2
LazyMarathoner - 19.62

And now... The Weekly Team Standings for the June Challenge.....

1st place - Taser Running - 21.1%
2nd place - Team Trifecta - 18.3%
3rd place - June Bugs - 15.4%

BUT it looks like three people on the June Bugs team have zeros on the spreadsheet: colesdad, victoria.petridou, pilotncommand172.

(Jen, did you want to check their blogs? You can borrow my taser if you'd like. )

Once these people update the spreadsheet, who KNOWS what the results will be! Will Team June Bugs remain in 3rd place, move up to 2nd, or even take over 1st????

Stay tuned. The month is only 23% completed. The second update will be posted next week.

Stay motivated! Keep running! (And don't forget the secondary challenge: the POST PADDING challenge!)

Hey guys.  Had a great time today.  I finished 177/240 and 6/9 in my AG.  Total time 1:42:21, a PR of 14 minutes.  I sucked on the swim, cruised on the bike and ran well.  I didn't push it at all and just enjoyed myself.  It was a perfect day to race.  I am working on the RR but it will be a few days before I get it done.

Can I tell you how much I love BTers?  I forgot my goggles (really) and I had two BTers offer me their spares.  BT rocks.

ETA:  Also, another shout out for BT,  a fellow BTer came to my house at 6:15 and picked up my 3 kids to watch them while I raced.  Even though her daughter had a lacrosse tourney today.  She just took my crew with her.  Again, BTers are the best.

Hey team, I haven't been on BT but I've been running! I did 14 miles on Friday and 5 today, I'm about 30% of goal so far! I had a bit of a busted training weekend, I went out and celebrated my early b-day with girlfriends instead and missed a bunch, but I'm sure I'll make it all up eventually!
