Hi again Nibbs,

I went for a walk today.  Needed a change of scenery and fresh air.  Man, my HR is jacked up jus walking but I also needed the rescue inhaler about half way through the walk (probably would have needed it if I was sitting in here too)

That's why I was gone.  Got married.  (Check out my album.)  Went to Fiji.  (No photos posted yet.)  Fun fun!!!!  Now I'm catching up with everything again.  Not fun.

Gorgeous...that wouldn't be cornflower blue would it?  My niece gets married in July and that's her color so I spent last week hunting that shade of blue dress for my daughters...

I got out for a real walk today--felt like a kid in the candy store too

Yes, I'm mostly resting today, but will be doing a fair bit of walking.

I'm seeing him tonight to give him his things back--random stuff of his he's left at my place. 

So glad you got out for a spell!

The walk was nice, but the whole time I was frustrated that I couldn't run --just had to focus on the positive things like the blooming flowers and such to keep me from going negative on the "can't do list". 

I spent the time trying to figure out the way I'll rebuild. .It's in the log--I'd love comments/feedback from anyone s to whether it makes sense and is realistic.  No time frames on tap, just thoughts on how/why...

What are these external living flora that you speak of?

Glad you could get a walk in today...I think I'm going to try a short trainer ride (and then run 11 miles outside tomorrow...kidding)...o.k., maybe not about the trainer ride...

I was going to check out what challenge team I'm on and noticed how far down we were in the forum - happens every time there is a new challenge starting - LOL

I'm here in Omaha - headed out to a fish fry

nothing like drinking beer and eating mac and cheese (i hate the fried fish) in the basement of a catholic church - LOL

I think I saw something about the book Kite Runner, just finished it - good book!

I'm jealous.  I miss fish fries.

I just got home from work and a happy hour.  I hate coming home and smelling like smoke.  It's gross. 

They havent banned smoking in pubs in the US yet?

Eeew they changed the rules here awhile ago... no smoking indoors, where people are eating and in most places at all... although a lot of pubs still have outdoor courtyards or balcony areas where you can have a cigarette...

They changed it in New Zealand something like 8 years ago and its just a joy going out now... I find I smell like smoke and eyes start to really hurt if Im around smoke in an enclosed space...

I'm amazed at how many people still smoke (and I used to social smoke a little in Uni something Im not proud of)

My grandfather was a heavy smoker, and sadly past away due to lung cancer, and he was the only person allowed to smoke anywhere in the house we had when I was young... my mum hated it but he was her father in law and a pretty dominating character...

Plus my Dad adored his father so he was always going to get his way!
