Veteran![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hello peoples..just came back from a GREAT workout..so thats why you are supposed to have weeks where you reduce your training. I did that last week and this week I feel so much stronger..anyhoo Last week: 161 This week: 160.8 Not much, but its going in the RIGHT direction :-) Plus, my clothes are getting too big..YESSS!!!!!! Ummmmm, Sailing4? Can you please change my initial weight to 175..thats where I started this year when I started my tri-training and eating right lifestyle but I didnt start "weighing in" with you guys until two weeks ago..I like that chart that you are keeping and it would be nice to see -14.2 next to my name. Just a psychological thing..hope you understand :-) |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() My weigh in: this week 124 last week 123 +1 I think a big part of my problem is that my original goal when I started losing weight was 125lbs, but after getting to 125 I realized that my body fat % was still higher than I liked so I changed my goal to 115. There is a part of me that thinks " hey, look how great you've done go ahead and eat that (cookie, ice cream, Mocha,____)." I've got to get over this mental block because I'm not quite where I want to be yet, and if I don't get over that thinking it won't last long even when I do reach my goal. |

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Cead_Mille_Failte - 2008-03-05 2:55 AM SO another Wednesday has arrived and here it is: last week: 71,8kg this week: 71,5kg I know my loss is minimal 0.3kg but that could have been expected after my "french fries accident". On the other hand the last weighing I was down 1,7kg so maybe it balances out this week. Also from the last time when I lost lots of weight I remember going below 70kg took me a lot of time. And I'm fitting into size 12 easily. Nah it doesn't work I'm not happy with myself this week. ANd have an awful migrene from the minute I opened my eyes this morning. Not my day I guess. Any movement forward is still positive no matter how small. What do you think you can do to help boost your spirits. ( without eating a tub of ice cream of course) How about a brisk walk (30-45 min) Edited by i146q 2008-03-05 3:32 PM |

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Fone84259 - 2008-03-05 11:09 AM Last week 154.4. This week 152.4. Loss: 2.0 I am excited about this two pound loss. I worked really hard this week doing cardio twice a day to try to jump start my loss again. I hope to keep up losing 2 pounds a week, and need to not get complacent. Not there yet. I WILL get below 150 this month. The most exciting part is that although I have been up and down this is my lowest weight of 2008. ![]() Good for you, keep it up!!! |

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() cadreamer - 2008-03-05 11:22 AM Welcome all you new people! I've been busy, end of the grading period, and also getting over this stupid cold. Finally got my butt back outside yesterday and did something. I can't call it a run, cause there was a lot more walking than running going on, but at least I have done something this week. Weighing in: Last: 267 This: 262 Yay I am really, really happy. This diet I'm on bites in a lot of ways, but it's working and I love it for that. Energy levels are low though - so I'm still trying to figure out how much training I'm actually going to be able to do this year, and some sort of race schedule. That's a nice 5'er, keep bringin it, your doing great. |

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() JJackson07 - 2008-03-05 12:19 PM Hey all, I haven't had internet access at home for the past week (we moved to a new house) and my wife just had a baby girl this weekend, so I hadn't been able to check the new thread and post my goal for the month. So, as you can assume, life has been pretty crazy for the past few weeks. Using last Weds weigh-in, I was at 254 and seeing as I definately exceeded my goal of 5 lbs in Feb (I lost 13), I am going to aim for 12 pounds for March, ending up at 242. So, for today's weigh in: Last: 254 This: 250.5 So close to going under 250 for the first time in a long time. ![]() BTW- I got rid of that creepy picture with the knit mask- I think this one is a little better! Nice loss, and beautiful girl, Ohhhhhhh ! Congrats on both... :P) Edited by i146q 2008-03-05 3:38 PM |

Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() all vol - 2008-03-05 12:26 PM weighing in at 191.4, which is actually a litle lower than I expected...unfortunately its because of muscle loss and not fat loss, due to illness and unexpected travel for a funeral, and other excuses (that I'm done making) for not making my workouts... no excuses this month. 8-10lbs to drop. 11 weeks til my first tri (wow!) You can do it, we're here to help. |

Increase that metabolism, and that silly +1 will melt away with the rest of it. ![]() |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() i146q - 2008-03-04 1:59 PM Now what happens when you get to your goal weight and within 3 days after, your back above by 1-3 lbs. ? Have a contigency plan. Mine is I'm actually shooting for 1-2 lbs below my ideal/goal weight, that way if I gain the extra (water weight or whatever), I'll be right where I want to be.I think it's actually better to have a goal RANGE than a goal weight. Weight does fluctuate and I think stressing over a pound or two is counter productive. Of course, I'm not even close to a real goal weight yet, so maybe I'll change my mind... |

So, as you can assume, life has been pretty crazy for the past few weeks. Wow, I'm impressed you've been able to stay on any kind of nutrition plan, sounds like a lot going on. AND a new baby - she's SO cute. Enjoy it. |
