OK so I dragged my sorry behind out the door for a run and now I feel MUCH better. Nothing cures what I fondly like to refer to as the "nightshift hangover" like a little workout!! Did an hour of Yin yoga as well....

Not that I'm padding the posts or anything but....how do the extra points work for this challenge. I have just been giving myself a point even though my workouts are longer than the required 30 min. I know there are only a couple of extra points allowed so should I just stick them in at the end of the challenge?? Thanks!

Any day with 30 or minutes of activity counts as one point. Doesn't matter how many different events that might be or the length of the events. The bonus points come from doing more than 5x activity days per week, with a max bonus of 2.

Hi Folks,

Not injured....sick....:p  bleah.  Long term stuff... it's stealing all my energy, and I'm not allowed to push it.  Good luck with the challenge.  I'll still be putting in some workouts every week as I can get up the energy, but there's no way I can do 5x/week for now.

Hope you get healthy quickly!

Good morning POGsters!

I hit the pool this morning for 1900m, a pretty good swim.

If we don't hear from Llura or Rottie by the time the weekend is over I think we should ask to have them removed from the team.

I agree....I too have left them inspires and haven't seen or heard from them!

Hope you are OK moondirt. Well POGs I got in my 5 days this week...missed the last two days due to work and shopping. I will do something today. I cannot access the spreadsheet. It wont take the password. Ant suggestions? I have not had a problem before.

I need to have a tooth pulled Monaday, so I will probably be unable to train on Tues & Wed but should be good to go after that.

Have a great weekend POGs!!!

So its a max of 2 extra points for the whole challenge, right? Not per week? I  put in 7 for last week so I can only enter 5 points a week from now on...have I got this right? Sorry for being a moron, I 'm trying to keep all of the various challenge rules straight!!!

I put 7 for this week as well, but it looks like I can only put in 5 per week from now on. I have to say I am loving these challenges, keeps me focused!

I need to add swimming to my training, fortunately the school district has an olympic size pool (the Josh Davis pool - Josh Davis the gold medalist grew up here) and I can swim there for $3 a session, or $40 for 20 sessions. Good deal seeing I would only be going to a gym to swim, and don't want to spend $50+ a month just to access a pool.

Wow, what a great deal. I've never swum (is that a word?) in a big pool, it must be really cool to not be constantly turning.  I saw that some of you peachy POGs put in 7 workouts so I did too.  I think I'll change it back to 6, so that will be my 5 with 1 of my bonuses.  Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Helen, you are right...you can no longer enter any # other than 5 for this challenge.

What do we do about Rottie and Llura?  Do we just have them removed since they've seemed to drop off the BT planet?

As for me...I've logged in my 5 days this week but I may get one of my extra points today.  I am going to do my best to get something in ~ other than my push ups ~ but today is busy, busy, busy!  Either way...I shall return!

I'd gotten bored riding the routes starting from my house so I went out and rode the Iron Girl Triathlon bike route. I've ridden the route at least 7 or 8 times but this was the first time since the 2007 triathlon. It was about as hard as I remember it, but lots of wind to make it that much more challenging. I did more miles driving to and from the site than I did riding. Oh well, it was worth it.

Good job today.  It's always fun doing something different - I can't stand doing the same running or biking rountes week in and week out.

We have an IronGril Tri here in Atlanta too and it's one of the hardest bike courses around.  It's also 18 miles for a sprint.  But one of the best races in town I think.

I ran 6 miles and dog walked 25 mins to cool down.

Go POGS!

Have I told ya'll that you rock?!  I have to admit that I was a little afraid of our what our standings would be when I saw two of our members just kind of drop off the BT planet.  However....we are doing awesome!!  Keep it up!!
