I'm in Austin, TX right now and the temp is 88 degrees. Boy, this sux.

Actually, what will suck is coming home to 8" of white stuff on my car.

I lived in Austin 25 years ago before I moved to MN. I moved here in March. What a shock. People were already mowing their lawns in Austin, but people here were still shoveling their driveways. I miss Austin, except Dell has made it too crowded. There is good golf there, too.

Weather is slowly getting nicer.  I think we need to change the name of this thread to "Whine about the road conditions thread"

I want to ride, but it's sloppy, salty, and dirty out there.  *shudder*

Anyone else completely excited that the weathermen got this one totally wrong?  We were forecast to get 4-6 and got absolutely nothing!  Forecast fail!  I have seen a couple guys out on the roads already, but I'm still waiting for a nice hard rain to wash the roads a bit.

All I ask is that I be able to ski just one day in April then it can get warm.  I just started my super early tomato seedlings last night.

*grumble grumble*

I swam the last two days and am not particularly interested in running in this cold and my bike is in the shop getting a spring tune-up.  I suppose I can just harden up and run this evening.  Ugh.

This is ridiculous.  I can deal with/expect snow and crappy weather in March (or even April) but THIS is cold!  Whoa.  I wonder if there's any chance of melting enough for a bike ride during the warmer temps this weekend.  I remain surprisingly hopeful.

Weather.com says we'll have highs in the 40s from Saturday at least through next Friday.  There's possibly some rain/snow on Sunday, but with that warm and sunny weather I'm sure things will be drying out pretty rapidly.  Outdoor rides are coming soon, I think.

I don't think I've joined this thread until today. I am sick of winter! It was such a tease last week. I am ready for 40 degrees and sun!

Down here in the southern part of the state it was 1 above.  I don't know how you northerners handle it.

Alright, nothing to complain about now.  What a beautiful morning!  I'm pretending there's no chance of a snowstorm before we're home free.  Nope, not going to happen.

Just got back from a week in Florida. Blue skies, 82 degrees. Golf, beaches, reading in the sun, and cocktails poolside.

NOW I am ready to whine about the weather. Cry

you know you are in Minnesota when the rant about the weather has almost as many posts as the thread about sex in the main triathlon talk forum.
