I received a PM invitation to check this out.

If there's still room, I'd like to be in!  My projected 10K pace is around 50 minutes.

Contacting Christy momentarily to get more info and arrange payment.

If you are full on runners, I would also be willing to drive and be a sherpa if you need it.

Hmm, I think someone needs to have their schedule modified.  I'm thinking she really doesn't need all that many miles for her training.  Maybe cutting back to 2 or 3 runs a week would work for a total of 15 miles or less a week.  That will have her well prepared to run on wurkit's team.

Just because you're running the same leg does not mean you will on the course at the same time. We may not have the same start time as you and our group as a whole is slower than yours. So you will most likely not see us.

We're not out to win this thing - it's just for fun. I have heard that some teams get weird about times and being competitive. But our team is a mix of abilities and at this point, it looks like I may have the beginnings of a stress fracture, so if I am able to run at all, it won't be fast. It's just going to be for fun.

see, my hex is already working

No seriously, hope the stress fx can be avoided!

I don't need to run at the same time -- I can challenge her to watch splits.

As long as I start within an hour of her, I should still finish first anyway

Can our fearless leader / queen bee post some details?  Like, who else should I start inspiring every day?

Well I was going to say "sure" and then post all the names but I rode my bike to work today and left my thumb drive with my spreadsheet at home!   Off the top of my head we have:

Daremo (Rick)
DlaxMan31 (CJ)
SCamp07 (Steve)
strates (Shane)
ThatGirl (Jessica)
dolelicious (Christy)
airbornefoxtrot (Andy)
JoshKaptur (Josh)

and 4 non-BTers (3 recruits from Shane and 1 from Steve)

All in all, the makings for a kick-butt team

When I am on vacation next week, I'll send out the spreadsheet and let everyone who hasn't pick the leg set they want to run... the legs we pick will decide who goes in what van too - the first 6 runners are in one van, the last 6 in the other.

Actually, Edeline is a BTer, just not very active. Her username is easkq2

The other two are Karen and Jimmy. I work with Karen, and Jimmy is her husband.

This definitely isnt a for sure thing, but im trying to work with our supply people here at Meade to get two 15 passenger vans.  It doesnt look too good right now because its not for official Govt buisness, but im still trying to work it.  Ill keep everyone appraised of the situation.
