was up this morning to 178.8, think it might be due to the weekend 9laid about 9 yds of mulch (about 12 hours prep time + shoveling time). Back's a little sore, hands have blisters, and I can barely make a fist. I'll be alright, though!

OMG, you would have to pick today - after I had french fries while shopping with my son and then ate two cookies for lunch. Not to mention last night's bedtime snack of fudge. Yikes. I think I need an intervention.

I'm reading a book right now called The Runner's Diet, and it's full of quizzes and things to help you pinpoint where your strengths/weaknesses are. All my results are "you just need to focus on calorie restriction" "you need to get your intake under control" and "this is very obvious. eat more fruits and veggies and less sugar".

I will have a super healthy salad with lean beef for dinner tonight, just for you Enders!

Grrr! I hate when those books and quizzes tell me what I already know - eat less, eat better. Yeah, I knew that - now tell me how!!! Salad with lean beef sounds yum! I'm having salad, low-fat risotto, and chicken breasts with a homemade tomato basil sauce.

And just enough calories left for a bit of wine. I should be randomly accountable more often.

I LOVE Parmesan Risotto, but I have to eat 4 servings because it is soooo good, so it is on the list of "to be avoided"

Accountability:
#1 Oatmeal - Coffee
#2 Chic fila -- chicken biscuit.... love them and they are also on the list
#2A Grande NF Latte - love them too.
#3 Subway 6 in turkey w cheese on wheat and stacked with veggies, Yogurt and diet coke
#4 not sure yet? could be a chance for a good day or it could be a food fest TBD?

Hi, I'm  a newbie looking to lose weight. I was wondering if I could join you guys? My birthday is tomorrow and there's nothing like a birthday, New Years, or a wedding to make someone take a serious look at themselves and their health.

Either way, good luck to everyone and their goals. I hope I can join in the fun(?).
