Subject: RE: IMKY 09 - Tshirtstnickerson - 2009-06-19 2:25 PM Thanks for bringing that point up David. Last year when I worked check in, I wished that I had made some sort of BT badge to wear, but I didn't think of it soon enough. I'll have plenty of time to make one up this year. Yoganerd and I bought cheap stencils and a fabric paint pen at the craft store and put volunteer on our shirts. Wearing a BT shirt to identify yourself as part of a community is totally different from wearing a finisher's shirt. I have lots of Ironman shirts that I train in to motivate me, but I'll never wear the finisher's shirt until I earn it. Hey guys...hoping into your thread here as I'm looking into T-shirt designs for IMAZ 09. One thing that seemed to work for me last year volunteering at IMAZ 08 was taking a piece of paper the size of a number bib, printing the BT logo and my name on it, laminating with shelf paper (cheap ) and then wearing it on my run belt outside of the volunteer shirt. |
