geauxtri - 2009-09-26 5:00 PM Hi Gang!!  I'm excited to get involved again with the challenges.
I got busy in the spring and then sidelined with ACL replacement this summer.  Haven't ran since May 30th and really am not supposed to run until November.  So all of my time will be on the elliptical/cross-trainer (my doc hasn't really approved this, but when I told him I had already gotten on a cross-trainer he just changed the topic to what he WOULD recommend I should do (swim and bike, waah! - he also told me I should give up running, pfft!!!)  FYI:  I've done two short cross-trainer sessions and my knee felt great during and after both.

I don't have my goal figured out quite yet, but I'm thinking it will be in sessions of minimum 15min per session.

...and I suppose she worships Les Miles and will be in a craptacular mood if LSU loses to Georgia...Innocent

4 miles at the beach today! on the way out it was completely against the wind...I figured ok, I will have a great loop back but NO SUCH LUCK CHUCK I made the turnaround, and all of a sudden the wind disappeared. WTH? Oh well, at least I wasn't struggling against it. Felt good, and a much needed change of venue....

Great way to start off the month!

I grew up in your neck of the woods: born at Jamaica Hospital and raised in Long Beach. I miss being near the water.

OK, I finished September with just over 229 miles, so I'll shoot for 250 this month. Off to a good start with about 11.5 today.

Dear Sparco,

You ain't seen nothing yet.

I just got an inspires from a pal of yours. It says, "I actually was throwing my name in for the Oct. challenge last night but then didn't press the actual "post" button. I believe I said I wanted in so I could be on Sal's team and boss him around like in the old days . "

'Nuff said. I think she needs no further introduction.

She's now on your team.

I suppose I should feel a little frightened that I'm being stalked.  But the word 'exhilarating' is all that seems to come to mind...

I've had bad dreams like this before.  I'm being chased.  The Mila monster is getting closer.  Catching up to me.  And I'm not getting any further.  Like I'm on a treadmill...

Oh, most of the time I am on a treadmill...or training with women...
