Jimi - 2010-01-03 12:56 AM Hey Stacie-

I have gone public....can you tell me how to grab this thing and but it in my goals?  ever time i try, i get the text in white (which I cant see) and no background.  I am sure it is something easy...i am just pretty brain dead lately.

Nice to be part of the team....we are so going to win this thing.

Jimi

dimplespoo - 2010-01-02 9:01 AM if you click on the names it has a log to the person's log. James - you don't have a link becuase your log is private. If it is just your screen name it was because in your profile it didn't have a "real name".

Here is a final one with all names and links to logs. Jimi - if you "quote" this post like you are going to reply - click the table and choose copy. You should be able to paste it into your dashboard/goals section and get everything.

Try that and let me know. If that doesn't work - I will call in reinforcements.

Hi People,
Sorry I'm so late to the party. I'm Riley, a big ol' clyde training for his first tri - ideally an Xterra in 2011 or 2012. I've been doing challenges the past few months ever since I sprained my shoulder badly. Once I sprained it and couldn't do anything, I immediately thought tris sounded like a great idea. [ I may be a bit of a weirdo.] Six months and a stint in PT later, I'm still at it.

Bodywise, I'm 5'9" and about 285. I want to lose some of my gut, but I will never be skinny. That's not how my people are built. I transitioned a little over six years ago (female to male) and in the process spent a ton on this body, so now I'm interested in taking it out for a testdrive and seeing how much of a performance machine I can make it.

Putting my goals in today.

Welcome Riley. Cool for toughing it out with the bad shoulder. Glad to be with you on the performance machine development. (revving engines...)
Varrooommm is not only the sound of reving engines, it is the sound of the wind here today. 25-20 mph... Wind chill warriors indeed. I am an indoor trainer today

Nice job Melissa - how do you like the spinervals DVDs? Trying to make my trainer time less boring - currently re-watching LOST while on it.

I like them! The ones I have are fairly intense...I have 23.0 Time Savers and 20.0 The Sprinting Machine...so I have to add in some trainer sessions that are less intense on my own--I watch Scrubs...Its my current fav...I'm finishing season 2...haha

Got my long run done this morning.  It was beautiful out!  Clear, no wind, and 40 degrees F!  Another rare day for January on the far NW corner of California!  Now I need to catch up with our thread!

Hi Tracy!

Sure sounds like great weather.  We are also about 40* but cloudy and damp.... but no wind so that's nice!  I just finished my longest bike ride of 9 miles.  I am slowly getting up there.. I just need to be faster.  Actually it felt good and I could have gone longer.  I need to find a safe place to bike some hills.    That was some ride you did yesterday!  Way to go!

Thanks Dee!  We went on a drive today to explore some hills that would be good for bike training.  Found some good ones that have very little traffic.  I use mapmyride.com and mapmyrun.com to find routes.

Nice job with 9 miles!  Just add 1 mile each time you go out and you'll be golden!

but i did manage to get in a 1 mile continous swim AND...

scored some time in the hot tub.

now im just wicked tired.  and its only 8 oclock.

gonna be taking an ibuprofen and chasing it down with a little bit of White Zinfandel and calling it a night.

Hey Team!
Got in a 30 min bike and 15 min core work today like the schedule says. I was putting it off until later tonight but I got it in. Bike was on the trainer since I was a wussie and didn't want to go out in 28 and windy... It was cold enough on the trainer in the garage.. Yes I have been out of Alaska for 3 years and the blood has thinned to go with the Oklahoma weather.
