bang182 - 2010-01-14 6:32 PM Question for team 1, (best Judge Smails voice on(Caddy Shack for those who don't know the Judge), don't you people have homes? Just kidding, you guys are doing great! Now, just don't let it go to your head because team 2 is on you like: - white on rice! - a bad hair cut at a Billy Ray Cyrus concert! - cold butter on a hot skillet! - oh just pick one already!

Homes?? Why yes we do! We ride AWAY from our homes.....we run AWAY from our homes.....and drive AWAY fro our homes to go to the pool.
Now eventually of course we must RETURN to our homes and face the mountain of laundry......sigh...........

But we ride our trainers in between wash cycles!

Too funny!  But too true!

Great job team 1!

Team 2, woo hoo we're almost to 3500 minutes and the weather somewhat just broke here. High of 54 today and was able to get some bike and a swim in, tomorrow should be able to do the same as it will be 51. Ah, spring is right around the corner! Let's go chase down team 1 and kick their tails!

Ok--just updated today. I'm starting up my season--so my volume is very small.  Plus I changed jobs and been spending a ton of time there.   It will pick-up later this year.

I probably won't swim for another two months!

Sorry team 2, lazy long weekend -  How do single parents train?  Wife was gone and I had no ambition for the trainer and we don't have a treadmill yet.

Team 2 is just over 2%.....it's slow progress but interesting to see the half hour here & there add up.

You and I are within a single 1/100th percentage point of each other.  What shall I wager on this with aquagirl?  Any suggestions?

Ok team 2, sorry I have been MIA last couple of days, that work thing gets in the way every once and a while. Managed my longest swim to date this morning at 2000yds, mind you I swim more like a barge than someone actually swimming!

Keep kicking team 2!

Ha, that's a great description!  I usually say I swim like a brick!  Actually ....my coach has gotten me to a pretty stroke but not a fast one at this point.  3 years of swimming with this guy and I'm not under 2min/100.....but since I started off a step above put your face in and blow bubbles I guess it's still forward progress

I got a nice long run in today for us!

Number are updated.  I traveled back east to Hartford CT.  I did get a run mid week and got two outstanding workouts in this weekend.    Volume continues to be light--but this is the start of my season.
