but i am sure this will drop as the weeks goes on !

End of july i would like to be at 205lbs. I need to stop drinking lovely beer!

I am also logging all my food on here now. Try and make myself accountable for what i put in my mouth!

Yeah, I have that beer problem too. Especially in the summer with cookouts and hanging out with friends, don't they just go together so well?

just cracked one open...  home brewed Canadian lager..

When do you weigh in -?

First thing in the morning before or after exercise ?

Just my weight can flucatuate between 4or 5lbs depending on what time of day i train and what i have eaten

I'm new to the site, and I'm in, as I still have a way to go. I started at about 225 in Feb. and now I'm 210. I still have a gut, but its much smaller. I'm not sure what goal I should set, but I'd like to get down to 195, but don't have a time line - not sure what is realistic. The first 10 pounds came off fast, and my body has changed quite a bit. I think its best to weigh yourself the same time each day and before anything goes into your body - so the morning before you eat is the best time I think.
I've checked calories in restaurants and I was shocked to learn how many calories they have, so limit yourself to eating out and check the calories. Even salads have lots of calories because of the way they prepare the foods.
Looking forward to keep at it, and glad I'm not alone in this effort.

I weigh in every morning as soon as I wake up (and after I use the bathroom).

^^^  This, even then your weight can fluctuate a couple of pounds either way depending upon hydration, etc...  Remember that 16oz of water  = 1 lb...

Great job so far.  The more you lose the harder it gets, I would probably set a three month goal to drop the remaining weight, that keeps you at about 1 lb per week which is do-able...

And I hear ya on the restaurants...  I work in the biz and can tell you even the things you think are healthy may not be...  Grilled chicken - healthy right?  Not if they use vegetable oil in the chicken pump (solution used to help in freezing and moisture - almost all frozen chicken is pumped)  to help keep it moist even when overcooked

Hi everyone. I actually started this same thing after I graduated in May. At the time I was about 225 and am now currently down to 218. I hope to hit 200 by the end of the year.

Heading into the weekend I've been pretty good this week.  Worked yesterday (Canada Day holiday) so didn't indulge in anything 'bad'.  Good thing too because again I haven't done much 'training' this week.  Saw my Dr on Tues... she ordered another set of xrays of my foot and referred me to a sports med. doc for assessment because she can't figure out what's causing the pain.

Hope everyone has a great weekend... I guess it's a long weekend for all of you in USA.

My goal is 127 by the end of July!  I am on service for the next week, then I have a sprint tri on the 10th, so the next few weeks are going to be challenging.
